In forthcoming scenes for UK viewers of Home and Away, Kirby Aramoana and Rose Delaney will get into a heated argument over how to handle the fallout from the horrific bomb blast.
A covert explosive concealed in a Stunning Organics package is set off in scenes airing this fortnight while it is being transported by John Palmer and Roo Stewart.
Mali Hudson valiantly rushes to warn the duo when he sees that they are carrying a bomb that was meant for Marilyn Chambers since she spoke out against the dubious company Stunning Organics. However, as a result of his bravery, he too gets caught up in the explosion.
Police officers Rose and Cash Newman are among the first people on the site after the explosion in scenes that will show on Channel 5 in the UK the following week.
Cash quickly discovers that the contraption was manufactured at home and was intended to cause as much difficulty as possible. When the police officers reach the hospital where Mali, John, and Roo are receiving medical attention after being hurt, they conclude that the bomb must be related to the ominous threats Marilyn has been receiving.
In order to find out everything about Kirby’s involvement in the Stunning Organics fight, Cash brings her to the police station.
Guilt-ridden Kirby is devastated, but Marilyn reassures her that they never could have predicted the extremes that would result from their argument.
Marilyn and Kirby are still uneasy a week after the explosion, but neither of them has heard anything new from the authorities. While Marilyn continues to feel bad about what has occurred to her loved ones, Kirby is eager to hear from Rose about the next steps.
The two quickly discovered in the papers that the CEO of Stunning Organics had been asked to resign weeks prior to the incident, leading Kirby to believe that she had found the culprit and that the bomb had been put by him.
Rose is irate that the police have not yet taken action when Kirby explains her theory to her.
Rose, however, retorts angrily, telling Kirby that she has no right to instruct her in how to carry out her duties, particularly given she earlier disregarded police advice over how to handle the Stunning Organics feud.
Will the dispute between Kirby and Rose become problematic as the probe goes on?
