Home and Away star Matt Evans shares hopes for dramatic Theo stories

In the future, the actor wants to push himself more.

Theo should have a big plot in the future, says Home and Away actor Matt Evans in an interview on his time on the serial.

Evans expressed his desire to push himself as a performer in an interview with TV Week, saying, “My aim is that Theo gets involved in more dramatic storylines, so I get to stretch myself more and learn to the best of my ability.”

After making an appearance on the Australian edition of The Voice, the singer and actor joins the soap opera as Theo Poulos in 2021.

Since Evans joined Summer Bay and revealed that his father Dimitri had abused him, things have been up and down for his character. Since Theo’s emotional history was made public, things have improved for him; he now resides with his aunt Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) and cousin Justin Morgan (James Stewart).

Evans has been able to use his musical abilities on the show because Theo also has a new relationship with Kirby Aramoana and hopes to get into the music business.

I frequently need to take some time to think on how much my life has changed in order to be thankful for what I have, he continued.

Evans was enthusiastic about his collaborations with Nicodemou and Stewart and thanked them for their assistance.

He remarked, “Jimmy (James) and Ada are both such professionals. “They have taught me everything I know. I get along best with Jimmy among the cast. We have a long-standing working connection because I frequently get to interact with him.”
