As Home and Away returns to Channel 5 following the Christmas holiday, things aren’t looking good for Tane Parata (Ethan Browne)…
His MYSTERY stalker in the gym has left the personal trainer for DEAD.
The mysterious stalker who has been giving Tane cryptic messages and red roses for the past few weeks has also produced a chemical leak that has begun to seep through the air vents of the upstairs restaurant, Salt…
Tane is barely alive in the gym as a HAZMAT crew arrives on the scene.
Both Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner) and Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) risk their lives in order to save Tane.
Tane is brought to the hospital, but his vital signs do not appear to be in good shape.
The medics at Northern District Hospital scramble to revive Tane as he begins to collapse.
But are they too late?
Meanwhile, while the black-tie fundraiser at Salt proceeds, police officer Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) begins to suspect something is wrong.
Cash discovers, to his dismay, that hazardous vapours are pouring into the restaurant through the air vents.
The visitors are alerted to the EMERGENCY situation by cash.
However, the scared visitors, including Martha Stewart, are quickly affected by the chemical spill (Belinda Giblin).
When Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) sits next to Martha, she begins to succumb to the poisonous air…
Cash seizes control and herds everyone into Salt.
Cash says that while a HAZMAT team is on its way, no one may leave in case they pollute the remainder of Summer Bay.
LOCKDOWN has been implemented at Salt!
Meanwhile, outside Salt, Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) is shocked to learn of the disaster.
All Roo can do is wait, helplessly, to see if her parents, Alf (Ray Meagher) and Martha, as well as her pals, would all survive…
