On today’s episode of Home and Away, Roo Stewart (played by Georgie Parker) returns to the Bay.
But she has awful news for her mother, Martha, who is still receiving treatment at a city-based kidney facility.
The hazardous chemical attack on Martha earlier this year, which resulted in the closure of restaurant Salt, had a significant impact on the town.
While Alf is relieved to see his daughter, Roo, he is frightened when she informs him that Martha’s condition has worsened at the hospital.
If Martha is to have a chance of survival, she will need a kidney transplant…
In the meantime, Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis) tells Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) of her father’s death.
Felicity is still certain that her father did not abandon his family years ago.
He had been MURDERED!
Felicity is desperate for answers and tries to persuade her cop brother, Cash (Nicholas Cartwright), to begin an investigation into their father’s death.
Is Cash willing to comply with Felicity’s request?
Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) is still irritated by Alf’s support for Dr. Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner).
Marilyn believes Logan is responsible for everything that has occurred to her since the deadly chemical incident earlier this year.
Marilyn is eventually persuaded by Alf that Logan is on her side and that she should listen to him.
Marilyn is sceptical of Logan’s motives as he presents her with a fresh treatment plan.
What will it take for Marilyn to accept aid for the first time?
Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) feels deflated after learning that his injuries may prevent him from ever surfing again.
When Dean’s girlfriend, Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman), learns that he is selling his beloved collection of surf boards, she is terrified!
Dean, Ziggy believes, will come to regret his decision.
But it appears that he has made up his mind.
Dean is irritated with the way things are going until he runs into Logan at Salt.
Dean’s enraged outburst astounds the doctor…
