Mia (Anna Samson) is still suffering the loss of Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) to an aggressive, fast-acting malignancy that took him just hours after they married. Tane (Ethan Browne) stays up to make sure she’s safe while sleepwalking.
Mia is sorry the next day and fears she is interfering with Tane and Felicity’s (Jacqui Purvis) relationship. She starts to doubt her recovery. Later, when Tane and Felicity talk, Felicity suggests Mia could use professional help.
Tane receives a call from Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) confirming Felicity’s fears that Mia had locked everyone out of the gym to work. A gym-goer finds Mia slumped against the office wall. She initially brushes it off, but later admits she worries losing her sanity.
Mia protests at Tane’s suggestion that she see a professional and says she needs her family. She walks and watches the water. Jasmine (Sam Frost) runs along the beach and pauses to chat to Mia, who lost Robbo (Jake Ryan).
Mia is delighted to chat with someone who knows Jasmine’s situation. Mia afterwards asks Tane to talk, feeling re-inspired. She tells him she’s leaving the Bay permanently, and she’s bringing Chloe (Sam Barrett) with her…
