After Nikau’s cheating scandal in which he slept with his manager Sienna (Rose Riley) in the city, Bella (Courtney Miller) and Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) have rekindled their relationship. Despite the fact that Bella had quickly abandoned and pushed him away, she had forgiven him after nearly losing him in a car accident.
As the two strive to move on from Nikau’s dramatic modelling career and the agony they experienced, they realise they need to set new objectives for themselves. Bella dropped out of TAFE to pursue photography, and Nikau is between jobs, so they’re not sure what’s next.
When Ryder (Lukas Radovich) is juggling his duties at Salt and with Chloe (Sam Barrett) for their Mexican trip, he struggles to work shifts at Dean’s (Patrick O’Connor) board store.
While Dean is recuperating from the vehicle accident, Nikau sees an opportunity and takes over the store job.
He establishes Dean’s surf school, but not before John (Shane Withington) takes advantage of the chance to give him a thorough lesson on how to be safe in the water. Fortunately, Bella is able to redirect John’s attention away from Nikau, allowing him to concentrate on his first day.
Two females who recognise Nikau from social media approach him and ask for a photo as he is cleaning the boards. John is glad to help and goes in to snap the picture, pushing Nikau to get closer and grin.
Bella, on the other hand, observes the situation unfolding and is both jealous and concerned about Nikau’s continued high demand…
