Home and Away Spoilers – Ari faces a terrible medical emergency in prison

This week on Home and Away in Australia, Mia takes desperate measures after learning of Ari’s death, while Theo reveals his tragic background…

Following Matthew Montgomery’s death, Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams) and Mia Anderson’s (Anna Samson) lives have been torn apart over the last three weeks (James Sweeny).

In the days leading up to the wedding, the couple had been the happy they’d been in a long time. Ari hosted a special family gathering in the back garden and proposed to Mia, with their worries about Matthew seemingly over when Mia was ultimately forced to tell Chloe (Sam Barrett) the truth about her father.

When Matthew showed up in Summer Bay wanting answers from Chloe, who had cut him off, their engagement fever came crashing down. Chloe smashed him over the head with a rock when he grabbed Mia out of fury, and he died instantly.

Ari stood up and assumed responsibility for Matthew’s death after Mia was discovered by the police speeding away with Matthew’s body, seeking to protect her daughter. Ari was arrested after confessing to murder and has been held without bail while awaiting sentencing while negotiating Mia’s release.

“Ari can’t bear the prospect of Mia and Chloe going to prison for this horrific catastrophe,” Rob explained to TV Week. “In the end, he can’t think out a method where it ends nicely for his love and his stepdaughter.”

“In the end, he decides to take the fall because he is confident in his abilities.”

Mia has been determined to go ahead with the wedding despite the fact that Ari is likely to face life in jail due to his previous criminal record.

Mia had relocated them both away when Ari was carried off to prison for armed robbery when Chloe was 9 years old, thus abandoning him. Mia has been moving forward with wedding arrangements after finding that they can hold a ceremony in the prison to show that she will stand by Ari this time.

However, Mia receives word this week that Ari has been rushed to the hospital with acute stomach discomfort, putting those plans in peril. Dr. Logan (Harley Bonner) suspects appendicitis at first, but when Ari’s condition worsens, he conducts additional tests and realises there’s something far more terrible going on.

As they wait for more study, Logan delivers the diagnosis to Mia, but she believes he’s not telling her the whole picture about how serious Ari’s illness is.

As a result, Mia decides that they should marry as soon as possible in the hospital! Mia said last week that she’d already purchased a wedding gown, so now it’s simply a matter of getting everything in order in the limited time they have.

Tane (Ethan Browne) and Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) bring Ari a suit and tell him he needs to sit for a family photo the next day. Ari agrees, but is taken aback when Mia appears on the ward in her wedding gown, with Chloe serving as her bridesmaid. Mia asks Ari if he’ll marry her right now, and a tearful Ari says yes.

Logan watches the two have their wonderful moment with conflicting emotions, but how long will it last….?

What is Theo’s secret strategy?

There’s fear for Theo Poulos (Matt Evans) after his court appearance last week somewhere in Summer Bay this week.

Alf (Ray Meagher) was determined to make Theo pay after Theo and Ryder’s (Lukas Radovich) tragic challenge, in which Ryder was buried alive and left fighting for his life.

Despite the fact that the challenge was Ryder’s idea and no criminal offence had occurred, Alf couldn’t see past Theo being to blame. He then realised that by reporting him to the police for taking the surf club’s ATV for a joyride, he could make him pay for another of his misdeeds.

Theo was sentenced to community service and a criminal record, and he instantly vented his frustrations on Alf, accusing him of attempting to shift the blame for his own mistakes onto him.

Alf ultimately realised that Theo was correct, and he felt remorseful for not detecting Ryder’s severe need for cash to pay off his debts. It appeared that a fresh chapter had begun when Alf finally apologised to both Theo and Justin (James Stewart) for the way he had been treating them.

But, as a new teaser recently revealed, it appears that the ordeal has exposed something deeper with Theo this week.

Theo was adamant about not telling Leah (Ada Nicodemou) or his parents about what had happened since he didn’t want to worry them.

However, Theo is terrified that his father Dimitri (Salvatore Coco) has learned about the court appearance after receiving a phone call.

“Please tell me dad hasn’t seen it,” he pleads into the phone, and when John (Shane Withington) runs into him, he immediately realises something is wrong… Theo is terrified.

He chooses to tell John about his tragic history, and whatever Theo tells him is so bad that John insists on calling the cops.

Theo, on the other hand, demands that he pledge not to disclose anything to anyone.

When Justin begins to avoid Theo, Justin realises that something is wrong with him, as Theo fears that John is about to betray his trust.

Theo then struggles to keep it together as he locks himself in the bathroom, as seen in the trailer.

What dark secret is Theo keeping from you?
