Eden wakes up from her faint, but she rejects Cash’s proposal to go to the hospital. Rose presses Eden for an explanation regarding her and Remi’s experience. Eden remembers how she persuaded Mickey to assist them as she could sense his bigger brother was pulling him along. She sobs in Cash’s arms as she describes Mickey’s attempts to save Remi’s life. Eden’s trauma is still too recent for her.
Levi is questioned by Mackenzie about his relationship with his sister following Eden’s previous outburst. Levi opens up, and things don’t seem good. He rushes to his sister’s side, though, as soon as Rose confesses about the kidnapping.
Things usually spiral out of control fast, and Eden is soon storming off while Levi is hauled out. Afterwards, Cash confronts his fiancée, asking how she could feel so much sympathy for one of her kidnappers but not for her brother. After considering this, Eden calls Levi to discuss peace. For the Fowler siblings, it’s a modest but important step.
Xander, in the meantime, has his hands full planning “Salt by the Sea,” a fundraiser for SCAD research in Mackenzie’s name. John must not only stop grabbing free tickets, but also find a new keynote speaker as Bree has sadly withdrew while Remi heals from surgery.
Xander is reluctant to question Levi at Salt because of their past interactions. But after receiving some guidance from John, he takes the risk and makes a very important call. Shortly later, Levi informs Mackenzie that he has agreed to do it and has set up a day ticket so they may attend the fundraiser together. However, Mac is determined not to leave the hospital when it comes time to get dressed the next day because she simply cannot risk that again.
