Home and Away spoiler: Leah agrees to get professional help

Reminding Leah that he is on her side, Justin tries hard to talk her down while being held at knifepoint by the love of his life. Leah grows even more agitated as Theo enters the tense confrontation and begs his aunt to put down the knife. She becomes even more concerned when he proposes calling Rose since she thinks Rose might also be with Vita Nova.

After Theo phones Bree, the young physician persuades Leah to give up the knife. However, when she returns home with her later, Leah has no memory of that evening. A flash of recollections of her brandishing a weapon confuses and terrifies her. She begs Bree to tell her what she did because she’s afraid she might have hurt someone.

The following day, when Bree speaks with Justin and Theo, she provides her expert advice: Leah experienced a psychotic episode, most likely as a result of her sleep deprivation after the Vita Nova shock. Leah appears broken when Justin speaks to her. He assures her that she has nothing to forgive, but she finds it difficult to accept that since she knows she may have harmed him and needs support.

Bree assists Leah in telling her family that she would be staying in a mental health clinic while she is in the hospital. She is aware that she need intensive care, which the Bay is unable to provide for her. After a tearful farewell, Justin tells Leah that they won’t be in touch while she’s away. Leah is then escorted away from her loved ones to the clinic. Will she receive the necessary support?

As everything is going on, Roo implements her strategy to entice John back to the Surf Club by presenting him with the Club Bible, which he wrote over the course of his many years of service. When John looks back at his pupils’ accomplishments—their names are in the binder—Roo tells him that most of them could not have earned their Bronze Medallions without him.

It may have been a mistake to rely on John’s nostalgia to cause him to have a change of heart, as he is currently developing a new business plan: his own Surf Safety school to assist prospective lifeguards in becoming qualified. Will John ever manage to return to the Club?
