Next week, another unnerving revelation in Tane Parata’s stalker narrative will emerge on UK television.
Tane (Ethan Browne) is fighting for his life in hospital after an unknown person attempted to kill him in this week’s episodes on Channel 5.
The stalker secretly drugged Tane by spiking his drink in the show’s UK finale. After Tane was knocked out, the unknown assailant set up a chemical sprayer to murder him, putting others at peril in the process.
In the upcoming episodes, doctor Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner) is concerned about Tane’s lack of development at the hospital.
Tane’s family is heartbroken, and things grow even worse when his nephew Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) discovers a bouquet of red roses delivered to his hospital room.
These seem disturbingly similar to the roses sent to Tane by the stalker in the days leading up to the attack.
Nikau is appalled to learn that the person responsible is teasing them at such a distressing moment – and he can’t help but suspect Felicity Newman.
Logan later recommends some experimental treatment instead, fearful that Tane may not recover.
Tane’s older brother Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) grudgingly agrees to let him participate in Logan’s risky bio-scavenger plan.
Tane gradually regains consciousness, therefore the risk pays off.
When Tane is able to speak again, everyone wants to know how much of what happened he remembers.
Tane is unable to identify a culprit, but he is perplexed when he learns that Felicity is the primary suspect.
Tane is adamant that Felicity is incapable of attempted murder and that someone else is to blame. Can Felicity’s secret be solved now that she has an odd ally on her side?
