From on-screen longing looks to real life love: Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor’s family in pictures

Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor never really got together, even though they both starred in Australian soap operas Home and Away and Neighbours and were Australians. That is, until they were recruited in the 2011 sci-fi drama The 100.
Because of the way Bellamy and Clarke held each other and the expression in their eyes, viewers of The 100 pleaded for their characters to end up together. We had no idea, though, that the characters were only a trinkling of their true love tale.

The couple had a highly secretive connection over the years. Even their May 5, 2019, Hawaii wedding ceremony was kept incredibly quiet until Eliza made her shocking announcement.
Eliza posted on Twitter, “I recently got married to my best friend and soulmate, @WildpipM.”
“We are very happy and ask that you keep your comments kind and respect our privacy at this time.”
Bob wrote: “This is something we both cherish very deeply and are beyond happy” in his post-comment. Please keep in mind to treat one other with kindness and respect.”

Their family grew when Henry, a boy, became their first child together in March 2022. But because Eliza had a loss a year earlier, it was not an easy journey to a happy day as “Mama” and “Papa” bear.
Bob got a father penguin and his chick permanently tattooed on his bicep as a memorial to their passing.
“I got this tattoo at a turning point in my life, things don’t always work out as planned, but the lessons learnt have made me a better human,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
Eliza and Bob, who are well-known actresses, have avoided putting their son’s face in the spotlight. Frequently sharing pictures of the infant with his face obligingly hidden from the camera or from behind.
We do, however, know that the now one-year-old adores Australia—that is, Bob enjoys showing him the fauna there.
“The kookaburras, galahs, and cockatoos…” It’s really amazing, particularly if you have a small child and they are saying, “Wow, look at that!” Bob told WEEK on TV.
“Having a child and coming back to where you grew up, you realise there are some quite magical things.”
