Former Home and Away star Tammin Sursok reveals her best products for ‘wild, long hair’

Tammin Sursok, a former Home and Away actress, has identified two items that she uses religiously to achieve “wild, long hair” and incredible growth. Both of these products are available on Amazon.

In order to look and feel her best before turning 40 this month, the 39-year-old combines an iconic hair mask with shampoo and conditioner from a cult haircare brand.

Tammin claimed in an Instagram post that Olaplex’s No. 4 and No. 5 Shampoo and Conditioner and K18’s Leave In Molecular Repair Hair Mask are her “favourite products without a doubt.”

Along with a number of other haircare products like Pantene and Nutrafol vitamins, she also noted the two Amazon purchases.

“In order to advance, dead ends must be removed. But in all seriousness, let go of everything in your life and with your hair that is holding you back from progress, Tammin stated on Instagram.

“My family also has a lot of long, untamed hair. Without a doubt, (they are) my fave products.

The K18 Leave-In Molecular Hair Mask costs $79.45, yet it has a cult following and more than 3,000 positive reviews.

The $79 purchase is intended to reverse hair damage at the molecular level in just four minutes.

K18 claims that with just one application each week, it can “repair damage from bleach and colour, chemical services, and heat.” Clinical trials back up this claim.

The product’s purpose is to “promote strength, softness, smoothness, and bounce to hair” and it delivers both short-term and long-term results.

You don’t wash it out like you do with many hair products. Towel-dry your hair, then shampoo and condition as usual before applying one pump to your ends.

After allowing it to activate for four minutes, dry and style your hair as usual.

Reviews on Amazon are excellent, with phrases like “a lifesaver” and “amazing” being used to describe it.

“I’m using this product for the first time, and the K18 Bond Repair Mask was unlike anything I’ve ever used. K18 left my hair feeling stronger in addition to incredibly soft and silky like a typical hair mask,” one customer commented.

“Valuable investment!” more was added.

Another said: “Without K18, I wouldn’t have any hair left because I bleach and dye my hair all different kinds of bright colours. My hair now seems stronger and softer after being fixed.

“Although the bottle may appear small, there is enough stuff within to last for a while. Normally, I don’t spend money on hair products, however anyone looking for hair repair MUST use this! Or simply strengthen their hair.”

Tammin also emphasised Olaplex’s No. 4 and No. 5 Shampoo and Conditioner ($86.52), which are also highly regarded by Amazon customers for their ability to strengthen and restore damaged hair.

“I adore this product. With the first wash, I saw a change. final result. I like it,” one customer wrote.

One more said, “Treat your hair and yourself. I’ll admit that I don’t wash my hair very frequently. But with the help of this shampoo and conditioner, it looks fantastic.

“My hairdresser and I both use Olaplex on our natural hair, and we won’t look another brand in the eye.

“My hair is smooth, clean, and goes months without cutting. You don’t need much because a little of this thick, softly fragranced product goes a long way, making the price tag acceptable. I can go six months with one bottle of conditioner.

Tammin admitted to experiencing “existential doom” recently about approaching 40, but that she has since turned a corner and is now looking forwards to the special birthday. She claimed this in an interview with 7Life.

She tells 7Life, “At some point, you have to accept it because there’s nothing we can do about it.

“I may be joyful and thankful that I’m still healthy. Growing older offers a lot of exciting opportunities.

“I understand myself so much better now.”
