The first Home and Away 2022 synopses have been released, giving us the first official details of what to expect in the show’s comeback week.
On Monday, January 31st, Home and Away will return to Australian television screens. The show will air Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m., as has become customary in recent years, with a triple header of episodes on Thursday evening.
While UK viewers only had to wait a few weeks for the Summer Bay serial to return after the Christmas break, Australian viewers will have been without the show for more than nine weeks when it returns in nine days.
The first episode of Home and Away in 2022 will pick up right where it left off, with Mia (Anna Sampson) being chased by Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) as she tries to flee with Matthew’s (James Sweeny) body in her boot.
Meanwhile, after his and Ryder’s (Matt Evans) latest prank went wrong, Ryder (Lukas Radovich) is trapped underground.
Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) will risk his life to save his girlfriend and stepdaughter from jail as the return week progresses, and Ryder will “say his final goodbye.”
Alf (Ray Meagher) questions Martha (Belinda Giblin) for answers before Roo (Georgie Parker) and Martha reach a breaking point.
Summer Bay’s newest doctor may also face heartbreak, as a secret kiss and the arrival of a “mysterious woman” threaten to end Logan’s (Harley Bonner) and Mackenzie’s (Emily Weir) relationship.
