Emily Symons enjoys an afternoon tea catch up with her Home and Away co-stars Georgie Parker, Ada Nicodemou, Ray Meagher and James Stewart

On Monday, Emily Symons was surrounded by her friends and co-stars.

For an exquisite garden afternoon tea, the actress gathered her Home and Away co-stars.

Georgie Parker, 52, Ada Nicodemou, 44, Ray Meagher, 77, and James Stewart, 46, were all smiling and dressed to the nines.

They sat at an elaborate table, eating fruit, sandwiches, cakes, and drinks while smiling at the camera.

‘Afternoon tea with these beauts,’ the soap star captioned the amusing photo.

It comes after Emily revealed she’d almost ‘given up’ on being a mother before giving birth to her son Henry at the age of 45.

After a series of failed IVF attempts, the star acknowledged in an interview with TV WEEK that her ambition of becoming a mother was slipping away.

‘I was convinced it couldn’t happen because I was too old,’ she admitted.

‘I was expecting it to be impossible, but it isn’t. I’d given up, truly, since I thought I’d exhausted all of our options.’

Emily and her former partner Paul Jackson have a six-year-old kid named Henry, and she has urged other women in similar situations to ‘not lose up.’

‘I spent a lot of my 30s being so distressed about not having a baby,’ the mother of one said.

She admitted that nothing else in her life mattered to her since she was “so desperate to have a baby.”

Emily gave birth to Henry through caesarean after a tough pregnancy, and she says the tiny boy has taught her how to be happy again following her mother’s death.

‘With Henry, I’ve gained so much joy, and he’s really shown me how to appreciate my life again,’ she said.
