He’s now appearing in Channel Seven’s gruelling challenge series SAS Australia as a recruit.
Dan Ewing, on the other hand, was enjoying a romantic park date with his girlfriend Kat Risteska just a few months ago, looking worlds away from his sombre demeanour on the programme.
The 36-year-old Home and Away star, who has been dating Kat since 2016, couldn’t stop grinning as the two enjoyed precious time together in the great outdoors.
Dan wore a grey tank top and shorts to show off his muscular abs, while his companion looked gorgeous in a white vest and denim shorts.
Dan moved over and laid a passionate peck on her lips as the genetically fortunate couple had a chat while seated on a picnic blanket.
Kat even got onto a swing in a neighbouring playground, where Dan threw her into the air with glee.
Dan confessed to New Idea that he and his girlfriend are going to relocate to Queensland in order to be closer to his seven-year-old son Archie, whom he shares with his ex-wife Marni Little.
The Covid-19 border limitations, according to the Sydney-based actress, had stopped her from seeing his kid for months.
‘It’s been difficult,’ he said. ‘It’s tougher than I ever imagined.’ It’s difficult to be apart from him. You feel like you’re losing out on so much every day. ‘Video and phone conversations don’t replace being present.’
He went on to say that, as much as he’ll miss Sydney, he’ll miss his son much more.
Dan also mentioned that living closer to Marni and her new spouse David Robertshaw will be great, describing them as ‘one big family.’
He told the newspaper at the end of September that he’s been looking at homes in Queensland and wants to find one in the coming months.
Dan suggested in another portion of the conversation that he could propose to his lovely spouse one day.
He responded, ‘You know when you know, and I know with Kat.’ ‘She’s the yin to my yang,’ I say. The bond improves with each passing day.’
