Here’s your warning Summer Bay fans.
Fans of Home and Away in the United Kingdom will be away from Summer Bay for the next six weeks.
The Australian soap will air its final episode of the year on Monday, November 22 at 12.30pm on Channel 5, though those who choose for the 5STAR first-look option will be able to see it on Friday, November 19 at 6.30pm.
Although it won’t be on the air until Monday, January 3, keen beavers can catch the same show on 5STAR from 6.30 p.m. on Friday, December 31.
The break for Australia will be announced separately.
As previously revealed, the deadly attack on Salt will be the Broadcaster’s end-of-year cliffhanger, meaning we’ll have a very itchy Christmas while we wait for answers.
Jacqui Purvis, who plays Felicity Newman on Home and Away, has revealed that she auditioned for a different part on the show a few years ago, that of Mackenzie Booth.
She told Stuff that she was “very grateful” that she got Flick instead: “Flick is just such a dream come true as a character.” She’s a lot of fun.
“I get to switch from being vulnerable and sensitive about my family’s troubles and mental health to the fun side, which is that she’s a little pocket rocket with no filter.”
“So that’s a great, huge blessing,” she continued, “and I’m just so grateful that I get to play it.”
