Eden and Remi’s abduction experience comes to a tragic conclusion on Home and Away.
Tane tries to get over Felicity by making a pass on Harper, while romance grows between Mac and Levi in other scenes.
- Eden is still missing.
Due to Eden’s abrupt disappearance, Cash becomes quite upset and calls the police.
As they get there, Cash tells Search & Rescue coordinator Sabrina everything that’s going on, despite his denial that he knows anything about his girlfriend’s whereabouts.
Soon, a comprehensive search will begin. Financial updates Flick, who believes Eden has to be there too, wherever Remi is.
- Remi rises from the grave
Concurrently, at an abandoned residence, siblings Wes and Mickey are detaining a tied and gagged Eden against her will, along with Remi, who seems to be deceased.
When they open the boot and find Remi still alive, Wes shocks Mickey by telling him they must dispose of Remi’s body.
It’s evident that her best friend is gravely hurt as Eden races to his rescue. Eden begs Mickey to assist, thinking that without immediate medical attention Remi may not survive, but Mickey responds that Wes won’t permit it.
- Bree fights for Remi’s survival
Mickey’s conscience finally sets in, and he confronts Wes. Together, they come to a compromise: Eden has to stay where she is, and Mickey can take Remi to the hospital.
With a sad goodbye, Eden tucks Remi’s bracelet inside his jacket pocket in the hopes that it may reveal her location.
After dropping Remi off by the side of the road, Mickey calls for help. He is hurried to the hospital, where Bree fights for her love’s survival.
- Rose and Cash save Eden
As soon as Cash and Rose discover Eden’s bracelet among Remi’s belongings, they start to worry.
Eden hears Wes say the terrifying words, “It’s time,” and realises that there may not be much time left to save her.
Eden manages to escape her captors during a fight between Wes and Mickey, just as Rose and Cash show there to take them into custody.
- Levi takes a chance.
When Levi steps in and commands Bree to perform an emergency thoracotomy on Remi, she is prepared to operate on the patient.
She pushes back, saying it’s too risky, but Levi overrides her and makes Bree step down.
When Eden learns what Levi has done, she becomes enraged and, as her tension grows, she passes out in the restroom.
- Eden and Levi construct a bridge
After learning about Eden’s ordeal, Levi becomes enraged and rushes to her aid.
Before long, the two are embroiled in yet another vehement argument. But Eden starts to wonder when Cash asks why she can’t have a little empathy for her own brother. Will they eventually declare a ceasefire when she calls Levi to peace talks?
- Xander organises his donor event
While Xander is finishing up his “Salt by the Sea” fundraiser, he approaches Levi about giving a keynote address.
However, there isn’t much entertainment at the occasion because Eden isn’t ready to perform again and Remi is still on life support.
That is, until Theo recommends to Kirby that they perform as a duo, to which she readily accepts.
- Justin senses desertion
When Justin finds out that his fiancée has been in contact with Marilyn, he is devastated and finds it extremely difficult to follow the doctor’s directions to stay away from Leah.
Justin writes down his thoughts for Leah, as suggested by Alf, and asks Marilyn if she will smuggle his letter in with hers.
In the end, she believes it is impolite to disregard the guidelines established by Leah’s care team and saddens Justin by turning him no.
- Mac and Levi make love
Mac is convinced she cannot leave the hospital to go to Xander’s fundraiser, but Levi uses his charisma to persuade her to change her mind.
As the gathering commences, Mac is profoundly moved by Levi’s stirring speech that he gives on the microphone.
Later, as he carries her back to the hospital, Mac leans in to kiss her, and the attractive heart surgeon gives him back a kiss.
- Tane and Felicity continue.
Felicity finds herself reminded painfully of her failed marriage to Tane through the fundraising.
The ex-couples discuss their divorce’s agony openly for the first time since they broke up, but Tane makes it obvious that they will never get back together.
Flick storms out, feeling humiliated, but Tane follows her, telling her that everyone is simply different and that it’s not their fault.
- Tane is getting better.
On the beach the following day, Harper is happy to learn that Tane and Felicity have made amends. However, when Tane attempts to kiss Harper because he misinterprets her concern for something else, their training session takes an unexpected turn.
Terrified, Harper tells Tane it’s best they keep their distance from each other, turning down his advances.
Levi aggravates Bree once more.
Willing Remi to wake up, desperate Bree continues to stand guard at his hospital bed.
Kirby joins her and leads her bandmate in a moving spiritual song from the Cook Islands. The two women are overjoyed as Remi begins to regain awareness.
Later, however, when Bree goes back to see Remi, she is incensed to learn that Levi has delegated his authority to remove him from critical care. The lines of battle have been drawn.
