Bobby Beale’s (Clay Milner Russell) innuendo statement to his lover Dana Monroe has left EastEnders viewers blushing (Barbara Smith).
Bobby was seen helping Dana open a bottle of champagne while working at Walford East restaurant on Tuesday’s episode of the BBC One serial.
Dana asked Honey (Emma Barton) and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) if they wanted a bottle of champagne to start their evening.
Bobby stepped in to assist Dana in opening the bottle of booze, telling her to “hold onto it, make sure you’ve got a strong grip, so it doesn’t fly out early.”
The newbie character burst out laughing at Bobby’s X-rated remark, to which he gently answered, “Sorry, I didn’t mean it that way!”
Many EastEnders fans rushed to Twitter to express their delight at Bobby’s cork…
One admirer said, ‘Love Bobby and Dana!’ Another added, ‘Bobby insinuation to Dana “shooting out prematurely” [laughing emoji]’.
To say the least, Bobby and Dana’s relationship has been difficult. Initially, the well-liked figure misled Dana about his true identity.
After spending time with Dana, Bobby made the decision to tell her the truth: he murdered his sister, Lucy.
Dana initially struggled to comprehend the news, but as this latest scene shows, she’s now thoroughly enjoying her relationship with Bobby!
