Will it be Cash or will it be Tane?
Last night Home and Awayfans started the journey of saying a tearful goodbye to Felicity Newman, after she collapsed during Cash and Eden’s engagement party. Promos for the upcoming episodes of Home and Away show Felicity on life support at Northern Districts Hospital, before Cash and Tane make the decision to turn it off.
With it set to be a very emotional week on Home and Away, as well as newcomer Abigail Fowler (Hailey Pinto) descending into the Bay to reunite with her siblings Levi and Eden, the drama is once again at an all-time high for the not-so-sleepy town of Summer Bay.
Jacqui Purvis told Yahoo Lifestyle that when it came to saying goodbye to Felicity, she absolutely loved her time working on the show, but it was the right time for her to depart the soap. “I’ve had an incredible time on the show. Some of the best years of my life,” she said. “However, I knew I wanted an international career, so, I had to make the decision to leave and take the plunge.”
And though we haven’t said a proper goodbye to Flick just yet, fans already have questions about how a future storyline is going to play out regarding Salt.
Home and Away fans question who will take ownership of Salt
With Flick being a co-owner of Salt alongside Mackenzie Booth, fans have started questioning who is likely to take her share after her death.
“I wonder who will inherit Flick’s share of Salt? Will it be Cash or will it be Tane? Or will the writers just pretend we don’t remember she owned half?” one fan asked, leading to mass speculation in a Facebook fan group.
“It will go to Cash or Tane as Tane and Felicity haven’t divorced, but [I] got a feeling Cash will want Eden to take it,” one person said. Eden, working in Summer Bay? Huge!
“I also believe Mackenzie might buy her Felicity’s half or maybe the writers won’t add that into the storyline,” the person added.
Others said it’d likely end up with Cash, but could also end up with Xander.
“It will go to Cash and I think it’s probably where Eden’s sister Abigail will end up working. She is wild like Flick was so she’ll be there to fill the void left by Flick’s departure,” one person pointed out. “Then Eden and Abigail will end up living at Cash’s house.”
“Who knows maybe she had a will and leaves it to Xander,” another speculated. “Good point. Did she have a will? Maybe a legal fight coming up,” another said.
Is this really the end for Felicity?
However, one fan remained hopeful it’s not goodbye to Flick… it’s just see ya later.
“I still think she faked it to go into witness protection. Didn’t you see how she winked at Cash, and also told Tane ‘I got a feeling we will both be happy’?” the fan said.
Look, I know Home and Away has run this storyline before, but I think it’s unfortunately over for Flick. May she rest from carrying the show on her back.
