The next week on Home and Away, Eden and Remi will encounter a potentially fatal circumstance.
Cash contacts Remi in a desperate attempt to find Eden, but the conversation ends up in voicemail. When the Search & Rescue crew arrives, Cash is questioned about his unfortunate camping trip by team leader Sabrina.
He acknowledges they had a fight the previous evening, but they had worked things out. As Eden watches her kidnappers quarrel, she is imprisoned by cable ties. She is startled to hear Wes giving his brother the order, “First, we deal with this one, then we get rid of the dead guy.”
They discover to their dismay that Remi is still alive as they head to the car’s boot to get the body. Eden takes advantage of the chance to make an appeal to Mickey’s kindness when Wes leaves them alone a little while later.
He releases her bonds, but he can’t take Remi to the hospital. When Wes comes back, Mickey’s guilt takes over and he confronts his brother.
After they come to an agreement, Eden puts Remi’s jewellery in his jacket pocket. In the midst of nowhere, Mickey drops Remi off at the side of the road and calls for help.
While a horrified Bree tries to save her partner’s life, he is brought to the hospital. Cash later discovers Eden’s bracelet amidst Remi’s belongings.
When Cash and Rose go to the location where Remi was discovered, Eden is nowhere to be seen. Eden is appalled to discover that they abandoned Remi by the side of the road while she is still being held captive.
Eden begs Mickey to save her life, and she is able to escape thanks to a fight between the brothers. As she gives her kidnapper a quick kick, a police cruiser pulls up on the plain, and Rose and Cash take Wes and Mickey into custody.
Eden falls into Cash’s arms and they are reunited. Bree and Levi argue about Remi’s operation in another scene. Bree says it’s too risky, but Levi insists they do a thoracotomy right away.
After being advised to step aside, Bree becomes enraged with Levi when Remi doesn’t wake up. Eden informs Levi that if Remi doesn’t make it through, they won’t talk to each other ever again as she dashes to her side of the hospital bed.
Eden faints on her way to the bathroom after getting home, but she won’t go to the hospital. Later, when Rose queries Eden about her experience, she tells Rose about Mickey’s attempts to save Remi’s life.
Levi rushes to his sister’s side after Rose divulges information regarding Eden’s captivity. She later calls Levi to discuss peace. Bree is incensed when she discovers that Levi granted the order and is appalled at the hospital when she finds out that Remi is being transferred out of intensive care.
