Courtney Clarke’s rise to fame started with the well-liked children’s show Hi-5, but she is currently gaining popularity through Australian TV shows including the venerable serial opera Home and Away.
Early in 2024, it was announced that Courtney will be appearing in the series as Valerie, a guest character. We can confirm Valerie was in a mental health clinic with Leah (Ada Nicodemou), despite Seven’s extreme secrecy about the character’s function.
“Ada was great, she was cracking jokes between every take and I remember thinking that she seemed so relaxed,” she stated to Digital Spy.
“I didn’t notice she was doing everything to make me feel at ease until we were driving home from a shoot. She is very intelligent; during several of our conversations, I found myself wondering, “How does this energetic little woman know all this nerdy, super-smart stuff? “
Courtney has collaborated extensively with Matt Evans and James Stewart in addition to Ada.
Valerie told TV WEEK of her new part, “It’s clear she’s not of the Summer Bay mentality and dresses in a very strong way.” “I was quite intrigued by her and thought she would be a great challenge to play.”
She would upload videos of herself singing on Facebook before her role in the renowned Australian serial opera, which led to her Hi-5 gig at some point in 2016. However, she said goodbye to this phase of her life in late 2018.
“I have no words for the way this journey has absolutely changed my life, the people who I’ve met along the way have shown me a whole new meaning of the word L.O.V.E 💕,” she posted to Facebook.
After that, she worked on Christmas Eve before starring in the popular criminal series The Last King of the Cross, starring Lincoln Younes, the former love interest of her from Home and Away, as John Ibrahim. The show was recently renewed for a second season.
Regarding her role as Neeve, Courtney said, “Thank you for the lessons I learned about myself through embodying you.” “The biggest of thankyous to @bonniecee for the collaboration, supportive space holding, limitless creative exploration & just outright 21st century female bad-ass-ness. Xxx”
Following their April 2023 photo together, it was claimed that Courtney was seeing her co-star Lincoln in The Last King of The Cross. Neither party has, however, acknowledged or disputed their relationship.
But you might recognise Courtney’s face from somewhere. Her most recent role was as Jade Hart in the drama series Paper Dolls onParamount+.
Starting her Instagram post with the words, “I cannot even begin to say how much love was in the making of this show,” “To my girls, you’ve inspired me everyday, made my inner child safe, and I have found the most special sister in each of you.”
