Based on previous years of Home and Away having 230 episodes, we’re expecting the final episodes to air next week, either Wednesday 29th or Thursday 30th November.

2023 Home and Away Season Finale sees Mackenzie in danger
In the Home and Away Season Finale for 2023, Levi will race to save Mackenzie’s life after she suffers another medical emergency!
A few weeks prior, Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) were having a heated disagreement in Salt when Mackenzie grasped her chest and fell on the ground, complaining that she couldn’t breathe.
Thankfully, former nurse Xander (Luke Van Os) and suspended cop Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) were on hand to help. Cash rushed downstairs to grab the defibrillator, before he and Xander took it in turns to perform chest compressions while they waited for an ambulance to arrive.
Bree (Juliet Godwin) seemed perplexed by Mac’s condition and couldn’t even determine if she had had a heart attack when she was taken to Northern Districts Hospital. Everything simply didn’t stack up.
The uncertainty surrounding Mackenzie’s condition was terrifying, and she broke down in tears when Tane (Ethan Browne) and Mali (Kyle Shilling) paid her a visit.
In an attempt to get guidance or a recommendation, Bree called a friend. However, the phone was answered by Dr. Levi Fowler (Tristan Gorey), one of the district’s cardiothoracic surgeons, who arrived at Northern Districts eager to investigate further.
After some further tests and a subsequent operation, Levi found that Mackenzie had suffered a spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD), a rare tear in the wall of a coronary artery which supplies blood to the heart.
Mackenzie was informed by Dr. Levi that although the condition’s aetiology remains unknown, he had successfully repaired the tear, and she still had her entire life ahead of her.
Levi clarified that Mackenzie would need to reduce her speed. The businesswoman and owner of Salt would not be accustomed to the rigorous rest and recovery that she would need.
Mackenzie was informed by Dr. Levi that although the condition’s etiology remains unknown, he had successfully repaired the tear, and she still had her entire life ahead of her. Levi clarified that Mackenzie would need to reduce her speed.

Mac is ready to go home this week; he can no longer stand being confined to the hospital.
She asks Xander to check at her file. Xander was a nurse at Northern Districts before he and his coworker Jamie were accosted by two robbers attempting to steal drugs from their ambulance.
After Xander looks everything over, he appears positive, and Mackenzie leaves the hospital after receiving his clearance.
Later, Levi gets upset with Xander for giving Mackenzie false hope, but Mackenzie returns to the farmhouse because what’s done is done.
Nevertheless, Mac grips her chest during the night, thinking she’s having another heart attack. When she shouts out for her roommate Tane, he immediately runs to her and drives her back to the hospital.
At Northern Districts, Levi assesses her and finds that it was just a panic attack. He suggests that she stay in for further assessment, but Mackenzie is determined to head straight back home.
Levi prepares to operate once again, as he promises Mackenzie’s friends – who quickly gather round – that he’ll do all he can. However, he’s fearing the worst.
