Justin is worried about the worst as he rushes to his fiancée’s side following her vehicle accident. However, more questions arise, none of which Leah wishes to respond to, when he discovers she is unhurt.
In the movie Home and Away, when Justin (James Stewart) shows up at the hospital, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) is under protection. While Leah is being questioned by Policewoman Rose (Kirsty Marillier), she says she’s okay.
Leah is compelled to acknowledge what caused the accident—that she fell asleep at the wheel and ran a red light—after the breathalyser test results are evident.
Leah becomes agitated and says she’s had enough when Justin, who is worried, asks his partner for more information.
Things are still tight at home as Justin skirts their problems. He also goes to Alf (Ray Meagher) for guidance when Leah shuts down entirely due to worsening mood swings and insomnia.
Ada, 46, tells TV WEEK that “Leah is having a really tough time – and for a long time.”
The following day, Leah surprises Justin by telling him that she wants to put off their wedding—indefinitely. She is returning from work.
“Leah never thought she wanted to marry again,” Ada declares. “She really liked the relationship she and Justin had – but something tragic like this makes you reassess everything.”
Will the couple’s ability to live be compromised by Leah’s trauma?
