Home and Away wins entertainment for Seven as Nine takes overall share

Tuesday night’s biggest entertainment show was Seven’s Home and Away, while Nine barely edged out the competition to win the total share by 0.4%.

The Chase Australia, the network’s entertainment show, came in second with 458,000 metro viewers for the episode.

In terms of entertainment on Tuesday’s overnights, Kitchen Nightmares Australia on Seven came in second with an average metro audience of 416,000, followed by My Mum Your Dad on Nine with an average metro audience of 414,000.

The Cheap Seats on Ten won the 16-39 and 18-49 advertising demos and attracted 343,000 metro viewers. Stuff the British Stole on ABC received an average of 341,000 metro viewers, followed by Magda’s Big National Health Check on ABC, which received an average of 330,000 viewers, and Hot Seat on Nine, which had an average of 316,000 viewers.

On Tuesday night, Seven News at 6:30 got 861,000 metro viewers, Seven News was second with 822,000 metro viewers, and Nine News at 6:30 had 708,000 metro viewers. A Current Affair on Nine attracted 599,000 metro views, Nine News attracted 702,000, and ABC News attracted 547,000.

According to the previous sentence, Nine won the evening, taking a network share of 27.8% against Seven’s 27.4%, while Ten had 19.0% and the ABC had 18.3%.

The top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was 7Mate with a share of 4%, and Nine also took the lead in the primary channel share.
