If the latest Neighbours twist is to be believed, Freya Wozniak (Phoebe Roberts) is not who she appears to be, as Gareth Bateman – who has finally made his long-awaited arrival – claims she’s a dangerous stalker.
We didn’t see that coming, did we?
Freya showed up on Ramsay Street early this year on a mission to find her boyfriend, Gareth, who had gone missing.
Gareth had gone, according to the newcomer, after overhearing details about a trial involving violent gang members at his local courthouse.
She assumed he’d done a runner in order to stay alive, so she made it her duty to find him, which brought her to Erinsborough.
Despite Freya’s initial use of him, Levi Canning (Richie Morris) agreed to help her with her inquiry, and a lead he obtained in Monday’s (March 7) episode of the drama proved to be the breakthrough he’d been looking for.
The police constable assigned Ned Willis (Ben Hall) and Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) to scout a caravan park where Gareth was suspected to be hiding.
During the mission, Ned and Harlow came across Gareth, confirming their suspicions. Gareth, on the other hand, caught them off guard and wanted to know what they were doing.
Gareth’s interest was piqued when Ned said that they were there on behalf of Freya, so he requested them to elaborate.
But things were about to change dramatically.
Freya is ‘unhinged,’ according to Gareth and his buddy, and she got fascinated with him, even ‘controlling’ him during their relationship.
Furthermore, unlike Freya, she maintains there are no dishonest police officers at work.
The unknown man said Freya is dangerous and told Harlow and Ned to tell Levi to keep an eye on him.
As you may expect, Levi was shocked when his friends informed him of their discovery. Is Gareth’s version of events accurate, though?
Is Freya telling the truth all along? Or is there anything else going on that we’re not aware of?
On Channel 5, Neighbours airs weekdays at 1:45 p.m. and 5 p.m.
