In Neighbours, Freya Wozniak (Phoebe Roberts) was left distraught after Levi Canning (Richie Morris) urged her to keep away from him because he couldn’t trust her.
As viewers know, Levi was shocked to learn last week that Freya had lied about how Gareth Bateman died during the tumultuous trip to River Bend.
Gareth was killed after Freya revealed his role in Aaron Brennan’s (Matt Wilson) attack to David Tanaka (Tanya Honda). David refused to treat the assailant, who died as a result.
Freya and David originally kept quiet, fabricating a cover narrative in which they said they lacked the proper tools to treat Gareth’s life-threatening wounds.
After a mysterious blackmailer made their life a living nightmare, the two eventually informed the police the truth.
The breadth of Freya’s falsehoods crushed Levi, and he has gone out of his way to avoid her ever since.
Freya has been trying to make amends, and on Tuesday’s (April 26) episode of Channel 5’s soap opera, she extended yet another olive branch in the hopes of mending fences with Levi.
Levi sought guidance from Aaron, who advised him to try again with Freya. Despite Aaron’s remarks, Levi went to Freya’s to tell her that he doesn’t want anything to do with her.
You’re sobbing, not laughing!
He screamed, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore!’ ‘I refuse to forgive you. Since the moment you arrived, you’ve just told me lies. Some people may be willing to give you another chance, but I am not one of them!’
Freya begged Levi to reconsider, but he was set in his ways, telling her to stay away from him.
Freya accepted responsibility for all that had happened, telling Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) that it was all her fault.
She explained, ‘It’s what I’ve done.’ ‘I couldn’t bear letting Gareth go, which now seems ridiculous. I was unable to complete the task.
‘I’ve pulled everyone into my shambles.’ And now that David may be going to prison, I’m very sure Levi will never want to speak with me again.
‘I’m at a loss for what to do!’
Freya sobbed in Mackenzie’s arms, unsure of what lay ahead for her. Is she going to be able to put things right?
