Neighbours could be ready to reveal a dramatic surprise ahead of Ned Willis’ (Ben Hall) departure, with Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton) believing she is pregnant with his child.
As fans know, Amy was eager to have another child, and she and Ned had planned to start trying for one before the Fashion Week debacle.
However, Ned’s romance with Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) caused their relationship to implode, as Amy chastised her boyfriend for violating her so severely.
Harlow, on the other hand, was blamed for the graffiti on Amy’s drinks van, despite the fact that she had nothing to do with it. She and Amy became enraged, putting Ned in a tight situation.
Desperate for advice, Ned contacted Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) and told her everything that had happened between him and Harlow.
Roxy advised him to leave Ramsay Street and start a new life in Sydney, and he chose to follow her counsel after some consideration.
In subsequent scenes, he approached Amy and revealed his intention to leave for greener pastures. Amy struggled to comprehend the revelation and eventually told Toadie (Ryan Moloney) that she believes she is pregnant.
Is Amy expecting Ned’s child? Will she inform him before he leaves?
Although Ned’s final moments will air on Tuesday (May 10), it has already been revealed that the character will return for the serial drama’s final episode, which will screen on August 1.
Ben Hall, who plays Ned, discussed his future leave sequences with Metro.co.uk. Ben teased his farewell scenes by saying, ‘Ned has departed a few times over the years, like when I first came in as a guest, I was always coming in for brief stints and hopping in a cab and driving away.’ ‘In classic Neighbours style, this is also his final scene.’
‘It’s a lovely scene.’ Ned’s closest friends and his fictitious family have gathered to bid him farewell.’
‘There’s a ray of optimism as he walks away! There’s a great little scene in there that I believe fans will enjoy.’
