On Tuesday, Kate Ritchie sent tongues churning when she tweeted a snapshot of what appeared to be her former haunt on Home and Away.
On her Instagram Stories, the 43-year-old radio personality shared a photo of a location that appeared similar to Sydney’s Palm Beach.
The upscale area is where the soap is shot, and it serves as a stand-in for the fictional Summer Bay neighbourhood.
In recent months, the actor, who currently stars on NOVA’s Kate, Tim & Joel, has spoken about her love for the long-running series.
Kate, who is best remembered for her iconic role as Sally Fletcher on the Australian soap, hinted at a return to Summer Bay in an interview with WHO Magazine.
The actor reflected on her experience on the famous Channel 7 show and expressed her affection for Sally.
‘Home and Away will always have a special place in my heart,’ she told the newspaper.
‘How could I not?’ says the narrator. It educated and nourished me. It gave me some of the most amazing years of my life and helped to define who I was for a long time.’
The NOVA FM personality went on to say that she often thinks back on the moments she made on set.
‘Even now, with some distance from those days and the opportunity to develop into my own person without the comfort blanket of Sally,’ she added, ‘I still miss it badly.’
Kate, who starred on the show from 1988 and 2013, dismissed rumours that she would be returning anytime soon at the time.
‘However, I also recognise that I will never be able to replicate that period of time, nor do I need to,’ she continued.
