Tane Parata from Home and Away will experience an emotional struggle in fresh scenes as Felicity Newman’s tragic narrative continues.
Tane and Felicity, a young married couple, have been having difficulties lately after Felicity’s horrible sexual assault at the Battle of the Bands competition.
Felicity has been seeking assistance while the police continue their investigation into the incident after she originally tried to keep her loved ones at a distance after the attack. However, despite Felicity’s attempts to understand what has happened, she and Tane have continued to argue.
Felicity returns from her second counselling appointment in the scenes that will run on Channel 5 in the UK the following week, and she seems to be doing a little better.
With her brother Cash, who is on a break, Felicity discovers that she can laugh once more.
Tane does not, however, participate in the couple’s laughter and instead seems preoccupied. Cash is informed by Felicity that she and Tane have not been speaking much recently.
Later, after seeing that her spouse hasn’t been himself lately, Felicity contacts him. Tane still struggles with the idea of telling her how he really feels.
Tane decides to get up and go to the boxing ring when he wakes up in the middle of the night so he can lash out at the punching bag there.
Tane goes missing during the night, and Felicity and Cash are worried because he doesn’t come home. Tane is finally able to let some of his fury go when Cash finds him in the gym and steadies the punching bag.
Later, while walking on the beach with Felicity, Tane finally feels comfortable talking to his wife about his emotions. He admits to Felicity that it has been incredibly difficult for him to watch her suffer.
After speaking up, would Tane be able to change for the better or will he stay silent about his emotions?
