Home and Away’s Ada Nicodemou is almost unrecognisable as she debuts a short new hairdo after hitting the salon for some post-lockdown pampering

She’s one of the most well-known characters on Home and Away.

Even Ada Nicodemou’s greatest fans would have to make a double-take when she revealed a completely new look on Friday.

The 44-year-old beauty published a photo of her post-lockdown hairstyle on Instagram.

‘It’s about time I got a change, new hair, and I adore it!’ she wrote in the caption of her Instagram photo.

Ada boldly flaunted her chocolate brown tresses, which looked to be shorter and more layered than normal.

Ada had lighter hair that fell barely beyond her shoulders before confinement.

She attracted attention to her young features earlier this year, causing Woman’s Day to wonder if she’d undergone any further cosmetic procedures.

Ada raised eyebrows last month when uploading a selfie of herself on Instagram alongside co-stars Georgie Parker and Emily Symons, according to the magazine.

Ada, who is usually well-dressed, had a perfectly smooth complexion, as if she had turned back the hands of time.

Many admirers noted on how youthful the three actresses were in the shot, praising Ada in particular for her agelessness.

The mother of one has previously admitted to using Botox on occasion, but she has denied using dermal filler to enhance her naturally beautiful looks.

In response to a troll who branded her “fake” on Instagram in 2019, the soap star disclosed the depth of her cosmetic treatment.

‘I don’t use fillers or Botox very often, and the only ‘fake’ surgery I’ve had is breast augmentation, which I have every right to do,’ Ada added.

The Sydneysider told the Daily Mail Australia in 2018 that she was not against cosmetic surgery on principle.

When asked about Botox, she responded, “Everyone should do whatever makes them feel wonderful.” ‘I’m not passing any sort of judgement on it.’
