Home and Away star’s embarrassing moment: ‘I died’

Ada Nicodemou, a star of Home and Away, remembered an uncomfortable incident in which she sent a group of soccer parents a racy photo of herself by mistake.

The Logie-nominated actress released a video on Instagram explaining the humorous experience and the odd response to it.

She said, “Totally died when I sent this photo to about 30 adults on my son’s soccer group chat by accident a while back, so embarrassing!”

“Does anyone else have a tale this embarrassing?”

Ada described the situation in a bit more depth in the video.

She started by pointing to the glossy magazine cover in which she is seen sporting a low-cut, light blue crop top, saying, “A long time ago, I did a shoot for Stellar mag, and this is the photo.

Not going to lie, I was fairly pleased with it, so I thought I’d give it to my manager Claire to check if she liked the cover before it was published.

“I didn’t receive an answer; I found that to be really strange.

Anyway, I went to bed and then grabbed my phone when I woke up the next day.

And I had sent that picture, not to Claire, but to everyone in the parents’ WhatsApp group for my son’s soccer team.

“No response, no one said anything,” claimed Ada.

“So I logged back on and wrote, ‘Oh, sorry guys, wasn’t meant to send that to you guys, it was meant for someone else,'” she continued.

“YET NO REACTION! Yep, I passed away.

The narrative delighted readers.

One person said, “What a boring collection of individuals, I would’ve had a good joke with you about it, not ignored it.

Also, I can’t believe no one replied. another wrote.

A third person said, “I would assume there was some jealousy there.

The wives were probably too envious to respond, and I’ll guess the husbands weren’t allowed to.

Shame no one could share in your enjoyment.

One supporter remarked, “Hahaha crikey, I bet you were popular with the other mums, though would’ve got a nice smile from the dads.”

It’s a lovely picture. I hope they all recognised the humour in that.

Others remembered their own humiliating experiences.

“Instead of writing, ‘I’m bad at tech,’ I unintentionally wrote to my new accountant, ‘You’ll have to guide me, I’m bad in bed. Absolutely embarrassing,” said one person.

Another wrote, “Oh yes, my friend, the mistakes and slip-ups, a lesson I learned.”

If you want a good Zoom background or to avoid embarrassing pop-ups, close all applications before performing live Zooms.

“I’ve done this previously, but I accidentally emailed images from one client to another client! A third person wrote, “Big whoopsies lol.”

One fan remarked, “I love it that you are so down to earth, and it shows that moments like these happen to us all.”

“I hope everyone is nice during the process.

Additionally, you are attractive, as is the picture.
