The explosion that will destroy Summer Bay has its consequences, according to Home and Away actor Angelina Thomson.
Kirby and Marilyn have been openly criticising the skincare firm Stunning Organics for the past few months, and they are currently unaware that the dishonest company has sent them a package loaded with explosives.
Kirby, who originally received the parcel on Friday (July 28), which was later distributed throughout the town, is at the focus of the drama.
Before the dramatic episode, Angelina told Mediaweek that it would be “a huge episode.” The bomb is passed between numerous hands as the episode and the plot advance.
The bomb will be passed through multiple residences, the surf club, and the hands of countless Summer Bay locals as spectators watch.
There are a lot of people who could be implicated in this dramatic episode, the actress continued. The Bay will be shaken by it.
Kirby acknowledged that there will be “a lot of trauma” following the attack and that she will suffer in some way.
She continued, “There is undoubtedly a lot of pain associated with the entire Stunning Organics experience, and despite the significant explosion, the company’s future is still bright.
It’s the base of one mountain and the start of another, she said.
Angelina and 53-year-old Emily Symons, who has intermittently portrayed Marilyn Chambers since the soap opera’s debut episode in 1989, have been able to collaborate on the plot.
It’s honestly been such a blessing to be able to work with Emily, Angelina gushed.
The soap actor continued, “It has been such a treat to do this storyline and get to know and hang out with Emily so much more.”
When Mali (Kyle Shilling) hears that two of Marilyn’s closest friends have a bomb just a few metres away from them, he jumps into action and chases the car.
They stop the vehicle as the bomb goes off, yelling at everyone to get out.
