Remi is finally recovering after nearly losing his life in a hit-and-run accident.
However, his obstinate resistance to receiving assistance could impede his recuperation and force him to return to the hospital.
This week on Home and Away, Remi (played by Adam Rowland), who was hurt and left for dead in the 2023 season finale when his motorcycle and a car crashed, was released from the hospital.
While his love Dr. Bree (Juliet Godwin) is visiting her sick father, he is adjusting to life at home with the assistance of his Lyrik bandmates Kirby (Angelina Thomson) and Eden (Stephanie Panozzo).
“Traumatic blunt-force trauma to the heart left Remi with serious internal haemorrhaging,” Adam told TV WEEK. “Only by sheer luck is Dr Levi Fowler [Tristan Gorey] in town, and he acts quickly to perform an emergency cardiac thoracotomy, an operation with a 20 per cent survival rate.”
Remi has made progress, but Bree has also urged that he take things gently and keep a close eye on his pain. To ease her concerns, Remi pretends he’s still in the hospital when she calls him for an update.
Regarding Remi’s protective demeanour, Adam remarks, “He’s learned to ride the highs and lows of relationships and how to support close friends through any dilemma.” Remi has experienced a lot during his time at Summer Bay.
Remi loses it when Kirby and Eden confront their friend after being perplexed by his falsehood and tells them to “back off” and mind their own business. Even though they both feel bad about lying to Bree, who had asked to be updated specifically as a doctor and a partner, they decide not to tell her the truth.
But as the day goes on, Remi’s suffering gets worse. He is again urged to phone Bree by Kirby and Eden, but he declines. His pals realise they are running out of time when they see him on the bathroom floor, sweating, heated, and writhing in agony.
Eden is forced to make a potentially life-saving phone call. Will everything work out for Remi?
