After being trapped inside restaurant Salt after the deadly chemical assault on Home and Away, Marilyn Chambers (played by Emily Symons) had a lucky escape.
While other Summer Bay residents, such as Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) and Martha Stewart (Belinda Giblin), were brought to the hospital after inhaling the hazardous vapours, Marilyn appears to be unaffected.

Marilyn begins to lose sensation in her legs as she walks home from the Diner.
She crashes to the ground unexpectedly!

Despite their history of animosity, Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis) is genuinely concerned now that Tane Parata’s life is in jeopardy in the hospital.
Cash (Nicholas Cartwright), Felicity’s policeman brother, is perplexed by her change of heart, given that she had recently obtained a restraining order against Tane, prohibiting him from coming near her.
As the Federal Police are seen outside the Surf Club, the storey deepens.
According to Cash, the FBI has taken over the investigation since it appears to be a domestic terror plan…
The change of events has left everyone in the Bay rattled, including rumours that Felicity may have been involved.
Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost), Cash’s girlfriend, wants to give Felicity the benefit of the doubt.
However, while visiting Felicity at the Caravan Park, Jasmine makes an SURPRISE finding that may indicate Felicity has been lying… and is the perpetrator of the lethal chemical assault!
Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) is annoyed that he is still in so much agony following the clifftop vehicle accident.
Dean only wants everything to return to normal so he can resume his job.
Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman), his lover, is concerned that he is hastening his recuperation.
Dean must have faith that Nikau Parata (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) would keep the Board Shop running well while he is away.
