Home and Away Spoilers – John moves in with Irene

The CEO of Stunning Organics goes to court, Mali takes a chance, and John moves into Irene’s home the following week on Home and Away in the UK.

Next week, Summer Bay will continue to be affected by the bomb attack on Stunning Organics as the victims and their loved ones deal with their recovery and their annoyance at the lack of responsibility.

The bomb was most devastating to Roo (Georgie Parker), who, together with John (Shane Withington), just managed to leave their rental van before the hidden explosive went off. Roo discovered she could no longer feel her legs shortly after arriving at Northern Districts Hospital, and she later quickly worsened and suffered a heart arrest.

Prior to being transported to a city hospital for immediate spinal surgery, Bree (Juliet Godwin) tried to stabilise Roo.

When Alf returns from Roo’s bedside next week, she is still unconscious, so there is no way to tell if the surgery was successful until she awakens, and there is no way of knowing when that will be.

When Rose (Kirsty Marillier) finds out that the primary suspect—the former CEO of Stunning Organics—has been seen at a Yabbie Creek motel, things take a turn for the better.

Rose later confirms to Marilyn (Emily Symons) that the suspect would be gone for a considerable amount of time. Officers hurry over to the motel where the suspect is promptly caught.

Marilyn informs Alf with joy that the experience is now ended. Alf, though, notes that Roo is still motionless in a city hospital bed and finds no solace in this.

Marilyn is happy to learn she won’t have to give a testimony when the perpetrator eventually enters a guilty plea to all counts.

The Coastal News then published a story with a statement from Carey Fielding, the company’s newly appointed CEO, who claims that the former CEO’s actions are “no reflection of the high standards and ethics we aspire to at Stunning Organics” and that they want to “reassure our loyal customers and hard-working brand ambassadors that our high quality products will continue to trade as normal.”

Marilyn and Alf are upset. It appears that the shady corporation is back to its old ways!

Mali, the hero of the hour, was caught in the blast and has escaped relatively unscathed, but his pierced eardrum is causing a variety of issues.

Only a few months after taking over the board shop, Mali’s ability to teach surfing lessons is threatened by his order to remain out of the ocean for many weeks. The lessons generate the greatest revenue, however he can continue manage the business as usual.

Mali, who frequently experiences dizziness, goes back to work at the surf club, telling Rose that because he owns a small business, he is not entitled to sick leave and that he has already taken as much time off as he can.

Mali defies Rose’s advice the following morning and goes to the beach with his surfboard because he is frustrated and thinks Bree and her colleague doctors were being unduly cautious. With an earplug, Mali is confident that it wouldn’t harm to attempt it.

At first, everything appears to be going well, but when Mali tries to grab a wave, he keels over and wipes out.

For a little period, he attempts to keep his head above water before submerging.

Will Mali be alright?

John, meantime, gets discharged from the hospital after his own tragic event.

After surgery, John, who had experienced some internal bleeding as a result of the explosion, appeared to be recovering well—until his heart rate unexpectedly increased.

Irene (Lynne McGranger), who witnessed Bree give John a medicine that temporarily stopped his heart in order to calibrate it, was scared. The two later had a heart-to-heart since Irene wouldn’t leave her friend’s bedside throughout the night.

John was in a particularly contemplative frame of mind as he bemoaned his predicament and expressed gratitude to Irene for being there for him. John had just experienced the drug’s well-known side effect of “impending doom,” the exact sensation of death approaching.

He said to her, “I would have died a lonely man if I died here today. “When I leave here, I return to a vacant home… life must be more than that, don’t you think?

Irene brings John back to the cafe after picking him up from the hospital, where even Alf, John’s harshest critic, is happy to see him.

John claims he’ll be OK on his own when Bree observes that he should actually have someone stay with him at home. Irene, however, won’t have it; he’s coming to stay with her, and she won’t take “no” for an answer!

John talks about staying for just a few of days as Irene shows him into the Beach House’s downstairs bedroom, making it obvious that he doesn’t want to cause any trouble for her. John worries that because of his “little wobble” at the hospital, Irene feels forced to tell him something is wrong.

Irene allayes his worries by reassuring him that she invited him because she wanted to make sure he was taken care of.

Will Irene regret her choice as John finally starts to unwind and settle in? Or is John going to shock us all?
