Home and Away Spoilers – Harper and Felicity clash over Tane

This week on Australia’s Home and Away, Felicity battles with Tane’s new confidante Harper while she tries to win him back.

When Harper Matheson (Jessica Redmayne) first arrived in Summer Bay earlier this year, she has been feeling a little lost. She had found her old friend Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) through her employment as a social worker, and she had come to town hoping for his assistance.

Because of her role in providing sanctuary to her sister Dana (Ally Harris), who was wanted on drug-related charges, she ultimately lost her employment. Since then, she has practically kept Summer Bay Fit afloat by packing her days with endless PT sessions and classes.

Dana didn’t hesitate to express her opinion that Tane (Ethan Browne), the gym’s owner, was handsome, but Flick overheard them and pointed out that Tane was already in a relationship.

In a matter of weeks, Tane has dissolved his marriage to Felicity—who he had agreed to try for a child—after learning that she was still taking birth control pills. Tane is now officially single.

Tane didn’t take long to move on, going out to drink and returning with a one-night affair that flatmate Mali (Kyle Shilling) discovered the next morning. Soon later, Felicity heard Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) informing Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) about Tane’s deeds. This is how Felicity found out about them.

When Harper discovered Tane in the gym last week, pounding the punching bag to the brink of its existence, she started to worry for his safety. Tane tried to refuse, but Harper persuaded him to talk to her nevertheless, stating that she was a social worker, not a counsellor, and that her purpose was simply to be a friend.

This week, while Felicity keeps trying to get her husband back, she encounters a roadblock when she notices that he is becoming more intimate with Harper. This leads to a heated altercation in the Surf Club.

This article contains a new promo that shows the dramatic events as they happen.

Felicity informs Cash, “Tane’s decided to cut me out of his life once and for all.” “I pleaded with him to keep trying for us.”

Cash tells his sister, “He’s not just going to wake up one morning and change his mind on this.”

She responds, “Well, I’ll make him change his mind.”

Felicity gets to work packing Tane a box full of items and memories from their wedding day in the hopes that it will serve as a reminder of their past together and persuade him not to discard it.

Tane appears to have made up his decision, though, as he speaks with Harper on the beach. Perhaps the time away allowed him to think back on all of the falsehoods and instability that have marked their relationship since they first started dating.

“Since I met Felicity, I’ve been fighting for this relationship.”

At the surf club, Felicity approaches Tane, who responds to her cordial greeting with a curt “what do you want?”

Unfazed, she hands him the box of love memories and sits him down.

Later, she is ecstatic to see him walking towards the outside dining area from Salt’s balcony and opening the box. Will her scheme succeed?

Tane and Harper settle down to start going through the belongings, and she is heartbroken to see Harper approach Tane.

Flick is devastated when Tane pulls out the photo of the once-in-love couple on their wedding day and turns it facedown on the table.

She confronts Harper in the Surf Club shortly after that.

She starts, “I saw the two of you,” and Tane approaches to find out more.

Flick tells her husband, “Those were our memories, from our wedding,” but she doesn’t receive the response she was expecting for because Tane is more worried about the possibility that she was spying on them.

Felicity remarks, “Can’t you see what she’s doing?” in reference to Harper.

Harper is about to defend herself but Felicity butts in, “I know what’s going on, you need to back off.” Felicity responds, “I don’t know what you think is going on.”

Harper bites back, saying, “You back off.”

“What were your words to me?”

“I heard you!”

“You don’t want to argue with me about this!” Feeling cautions.

Is Felicity merely aggravating her own situation?
