From on-screen longing looks to real life love: Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor’s family in pictures

Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor did not meet until they were cast in the sci-fi drama The 100 in 2011. Despite having both been in the Australian soap operas Home and Away and Neighbours, as well as being Australians, they had never met before.
The sight in Bellamy and Clarke’s eyes and the way they held one other were unlike anything else in a love story, thus viewers of The 100 screamed for their characters to fall in love as they watched the show. But little did we know that the characters themselves were only teasing the seeds of their real-life love tale.

The couple had a highly secretive connection over the years. Even their wedding ceremony, which took place on May 5, 2019, in Hawaii, was kept very quiet until Eliza’s startling revelation.
Eliza posted on Twitter, “Recently I married my best friend and soulmate @WildpipM.”
We ask that you respect our privacy at this time and be courteous in your comments because we are very happy.
“This is something we both cherish very deeply and are beyond happy,” Bob wrote in a comment on the article. Please keep in mind to treat one another with respect and kindness.

Their family grew in March 2022 with the birth of Henry, a boy, who was their first child together. However, as Eliza had a miscarriage a year earlier, it was difficult for them to reach their happy day as “Mama” and “Papa” bear.
Bob tattooed a father penguin and his baby on his bicep as a memorial to their loss.
Things don’t always go as planned, but the lessons I’ve learned have helped me become a better person, he wrote on Instagram. “I got this tattoo during a turning point in my life.
Eliza and Bob have avoided putting their son’s face in the media due of their extremely public lives as actors. Frequently sharing pictures of the infant from behind or carelessly turning his face away from the camera.
But one thing about the now one-year-old that we do know is that he loves Australia, or at least Bob enjoys taking him to see the fauna there.
“The kookaburras, galahs, and cockatoos… It’s very amazing, especially if you have a small child who is simply like, “Wow, look at that!” Bob spoke to TV WEEK.
“Having a child and returning to your hometown makes you realise there are some pretty magical things there.”
