Bella offers Nikau one more opportunity to mend their relationship in next week’s episode of Home and Away in the UK, while Mackenzie and Logan’s endless flirtation continues. Will either pair end up together in the end?
Bella (Courtney Miller) and Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) have been chasing each other for months, but unfortunately not at the same time.
After sleeping his manager Sienna Blake (Rose Riley), Nikau asked Bella for forgiveness, but poor Bells was naturally upset and had nothing more to do with him.
Then, when she realised she may lose Nikau permanently as a result of the automobile accident, she realised she needed him back. However, he was so consumed with remorse at that moment that all he wanted to do was hide himself away.
Bella is going to give Nikau one final opportunity before leaving for good. Is he going to take it?
Nikau was devastated when he learnt about Bella’s choice to give up photography last week. Nikau was confident she’d change her mind after selling her cameras and deciding to abandon the pastime altogether, so he acquired the gear through an intermediary posing as a photography enthusiast.
The plan failed when Bella discovered the truth and physically hurled the money at Nikau. Any prospect of reconciliation seems to be long gone.
However, at the start of the next week, Roo (Georgie Parker) attempts to figure out why Bella has abandoned her cherished hobby in favour of a possibly lucrative profession. She was on the verge of breaking through, and now she’s sold her gear and dropped out of her TAFE programme! Despite the fact that Martha’s (Belinda Giblin) charity show was raising money for mental health concerns, she turned down the opportunity to assist her.
Bella can only keep a straight face for so long before tears well up in her eyes. Despite what he did, she admits to Roo that she misses Nikau and is unsure what to do without him. She thinks of him every time she takes up a camera.
Roo worries if Bella should really be giving up something she genuinely enjoys, and if she’s attempting to punish herself by quitting photography. She tells her that her passion in photography began long before she met Nik – in fact, she inherited it from her mother – and that she shouldn’t abandon it so easily.
Roo’s words are still echoing in her brain the next day.
She manages to reclaim her photographic equipment from Nikau with the aid of Ryder so that she may assist Martha with her show.
When she looks through the photographs she’s taken, though, she’s shocked to see a close-up shot of her ex-boyfriend on the beach.
Everything comes pouring back to her, and she realises she needs to make one more appeal to reclaim her sweetheart.
She dials his number and expresses her want to speak with him. Despite this, he ignores her calls and voicemail, and she becomes increasingly irritated as the hours pass.
Finally, she is obliged to visit the Parata residence and face him. He doesn’t like being ambushed in his own house, which is understandable.
He refuses to connect with her again and retreats to his room, crying uncontrollably. Bella, on the other hand, has been here before with Nik, and she assures him that she’ll wait outside until he’s ready to face him.
Why is he so averse to having anything to do with Bella after being so anxious to see her before?
He eventually caves down and agrees to speak with her.
“Nik, we’re in love with each other.” And when everything else is taken away, that is all that counts,” she begs him.
He retorts, “Yeah, but I still did what I did!” “You may be prepared to go on, but I am not!”
She doesn’t understand why he won’t fight for them, especially when she’s already forgiven him.
He yells, “Bella, listen to me!” “You are deserving of someone far superior to me.”
She yells, on the point of tears, that she doesn’t want anybody else.
“I’m looking for you, and that’s all!”
“I can’t keep coming back here pleading for your love. So this is your final opportunity. I’m never coming back if you let me walk away.”
Will Nik finally see sense and give Bella one last opportunity now that he’s on the verge of losing her forever?
Logan’s (Harley Bonner) and Mackenzie’s (Emily Weir) will they/won’t they love tale ultimately comes to a “they will!” conclusion.
Mackenzie put an end to their weeks of flirtation, misunderstandings, and uncomfortable meetings last week, telling Summer Bay’s new doc that it’ll never work out if they can’t even get to a first date.
Logan, on the other hand, has repeatedly demonstrated that he will not give up without a fight. He sits down at the bar in Salt at the start of next week and refuses to leave unless Mackenzie agrees to go on a date with him.
“If that’s what you want, have one drink with me and then I’ll leave.” It’s all up to you.”
So she eventually gives him another opportunity and the two of them settle down for a drink. Mac grills him on what it’s been like transitioning from a hazardous, fast-paced job in Kabul to small-town life in Summer Bay, but the previous few weeks have proved that the coastal town still has plenty to keep him on his toes.
Yet, for the most part, he manages to steer the topic away from his past by interrogating Mac about her own experiences. She’s annoyed that he always manages to avoid talking about himself, but she’s taken in by his allure.
The two walk upstairs to Mac’s home at the end of the night, and Mackenzie is forced to admit that “spending time with you wasn’t entirely horrible.”
She says, “I’m actually extremely pleased we did it.”
Despite the fact that Mackenzie appears to be going to offer him to stay for coffee, she only gets as far as “do you…” before he thanks her for a wonderful night, grins, and walks away.
He Mackenzie quite frustrated, but unable to erase the big grin from her face with his leaving words, “sleep well.”
She runs into him on the beach the next morning and remarks on how handy it is that he is hanging out where she goes surfing every morning.
He admits that he may have walked by expecting to see her, and that he hopes to be able to take her out to breakfast. Mac, on the other hand, is all about the surf, as she smiles as she runs into the waves!
However, when she returns, the gorgeous doc is still waiting for her!
She isn’t going to let him get away this time. She drew him in and kissed him passionately before telling him, “I’ve been dying to do that for decades.”
Summer Bay’s hot new pair appears to be well and fully on as they lock lips once again.
