Since assuming the role of Kirby Aramoana in Home and Away, Angelina Thomson has kept herself very busy.
The Stunning Organics explosion, Summer Bay’s most recent scandal, has put the character in the spotlight.
But when she’s not working on the soap opera, she travels a lot with her actor boyfriend.
What country is Angelina from and how old is she?
Angelina, who is about 27 years old, was born and raised on Australia’s Gold Coast. Her mother is from the Cook Islands, and her father is from Australia.
She has talked about being of Mori descent and the value of witnessing her culture on television.
The actress cited her love of dance as the inspiration for her interest in acting.

And now, at the age of 26, I’m there, however many years later. It gives me a little pinch-me feeling. I’m not lying.
Angelina spotted the chance to work in her native country when the Paratas joined the soap opera in 2019 as the series’ first Mori family.
She recalled them as having traditional names, saying the grace before meals, singing, and speaking Mori.
“Prior to that, I had considered that I might need to temporarily relocate to New Zealand in order to attend auditions for shows like Shortland Street.
But now that I might have that opportunity in Australia, where I grew up, I feel quite grateful.
“I shed a tear on my first day on site. I just broke down in tears. ‘I can’t believe this is happening,’ I exclaimed. The wish has come true. I feel so fortunate to be here.
Where has Angelina appeared on television?
In 2016, Angelina earned her Bachelor of Musical Theatre degree from Griffith University’s Queensland Conservatorium.
In the Australian premiere of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, she made her debut as a swing.
The actress also appeared in Opera Australia’s 2019 staging of West Side Story on Sydney Harbour as well as the rock musical Rent at the Sydney Opera House.
She continued acting on stage, as Megan Jones in the production of PUFFS.
In 2021, Angelina played a dancer in an episode of the TV miniseries Wakefield.
Later, in 2022, she made an appearance on Home and Away as Kirby Aramoana, the keyboardist and lyricist for the band Lyrik.
The persona travelled to Summer Bay with her lover, Bob Forsyth, and made friends with Eden Fowler and Remi Carter before the three of them formed a band.
Shortly later, she parted up with her lover, and Theo Poulos took his position in the band.
