Home and Away Spoilers – New character Tegan arrives on Monday

Next week on Home and Away in Australia, new character Tegan arrives in Summer Bay as Andrew is finally reunited with his half-sister.

We get our first glance at Andrew’s half-sister Tegan in a new promo, which you can watch below. Tegan will annoy Justin when she admits she wants to take Andrew to live with her.

When he placed a note appealing for assistance in Justin’s (James Stewart) rucksack in April, Andrew (Joshua Hewson) first appeared on Australian television screens.

After visiting the hospital, Justin learned that Andrew was severely undernourished. Justin had discovered Andrew asleep and passed out at the house next door where he had been performing community work.

Two months have passed, and we’ve subsequently learned that Andrew and his father belonged to Vita Nova, a doomsday cult.

Andrew was compelled to adhere to a very rigorous set of rules governing his behavior and was not permitted to leave the house. Andrew was left in the house alone with no one to support him after his father passed away a few weeks prior to Justin’s discovery of him.

It turned out that when Andrew was only four years old, his father had whisked him away, and he hadn’t been seen since, so his mother had declared him missing.

When Andrew accepted an invitation to live with Leah (Ada Nicodemou) and Justin, Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) started the challenging chore of finding his mother, who wasn’t at her last known address.

A woman claiming to be Andrew’s mother Esther arrived in Summer Bay as a result of Theo (Matt Evans) posting something on social media. While they were sad to bid Andrew farewell, Justin and Leah were overjoyed that his mother had been located. They were also overjoyed when Andrew made the decision to travel with “Esther.”

Unsurprisingly, they soon discover that the woman was not who she claimed to be.

After viewing Theo’s post, Tegan, Andrew’s half-sister, contacted him and confirmed that his mother had vanished shortly after Andrew was abducted and that no one had seen or heard from her in more than ten years.

When the taskforce looked into it, they found that the person posing as Esther was actually Vita Nova’s commander, Margot Defoe (Mandy McElhinney). Andrew was subjected to torturous physical labor by Margot at the cult’s headquarters when she had immediately returned there.

When Andrew originally refused to leave with Justin and Cash, insisting that he was pleased to be back with the shadowy organization, they were helpless to free him from the cult’s grasp.

Later, as Justin entered by himself, Margot caught him and shot him in the leg with an arrow as he tried to flee. Fortunately, he was saved by the best of Cash and Yabbie Creek in the nick of time, and the incident finally provided the authorities with enough evidence to arrest Margot.

Andrew has been on edge ever since. The most of the cult’s members were freed without being charged while Margot was taken into custody by the police, and Andrew is afraid they’ll come after him again.

Andrew has been glued to the laptop screen ever since Justin made the decision to equip the Morgan home with CCTV cameras in an effort to reassure him.

Andrew will finally receive some good news the following week when his half-sister Tegan visits. Tegan, who was previously confined to a job contract that kept her abroad, is now free and will come in Summer Bay on Monday with the goal of reuniting with her half-brother.

Justin is relieved that Andrew has a true family member to connect with, but their experiences with Esther in the past make him fearful of what the future may bring.

In the brand-new teaser, Tegan and Justin are seen talking outside the Coffee Cart in the upcoming episode on Monday.

In a subsequent scene, Tegan assures Justin, “I really am Andrew’s sister,” implying that Justin is doubtful because he has been the victim of Margot’s deception.

“I want to see my brother,” Tegan says to Justin.

Justin eventually caves, and the following scene in the Morgan home depicts Tegan and Andrew laughing together on the sofa as they reunite after more than ten years away.

Additionally, an image of Andrew with his cherished teddy bear, “Ted,” which he was unable to live without as a child, is shown.

The fact that Tegan has a photo of Andrew and Ted implies that she is the real deal because Margot’s plan nearly failed when she mentioned Ted and stumbled when asked about him.

“This is our chance to start over, to have a happy life as a real family,” Tegan says to Leah.

“You want Andrew to come and live with you?” Leah asks, looking astonished.

Tegan replies with a smile, “Yeah, that’s what I’m hoping.

At that time, Justin’s terror truly begins to take hold.

“After what happened last time, there is no way he’s going to leave with someone he doesn’t know!”

The narration of the promotional video recaps the circumstances in which Andrew departed with the person posing as his mother and then asks Justin: “He saved him. Now, why won’t he allow him to leave?

“We made the mistake of trusting someone before,” says Justin.

Leah, though, supports Tegan.

She belongs to Andrew’s kin. We must take a step back and simply allow them some room.

Will Justin come to trust the newcomer and permit Andrew and his half-sister to reunite?

It had been long anticipated that Tegan will arrive.

In mid-May, we first hinted at her arrival in our recent story, “New faces and Goodbyes.” We were aware of her connection to Andrew at the time, but we now know she is Andrew’s half-sister.

When a passage from a script that Ada Nicodemou shared on Instagram hinted at a forthcoming conversation between Tegan and Leah in the Morgan House, it became clear that she had arrived.

Tegan informs Leah that things are going well with Andrew’s social worker as they discuss Andrew’s progress:

MORGAN HOUSE – AFTERNOON

LEAH, TEGAN

While LEAH is pouring TEGAN another cup of tea, they are talking about how today’s meeting with the social worker went.

1 TEGAN

She was quite impressed by Andrew’s social interactions, which is better news.

2 LEAH

That makes me very happy to hear.

3 TEGAN

She said that because of you, he is now beginning to interact with people.

LEAH feels a pull.

4 LEAH

Andrew is a brilliant youngster who takes things up quickly.

5 TEGAN

It was a social worker. I’m taking on his teaching… [illegible] possible given Andrew’s location… [illegible]
