Exclusive: Kirsty Marillier, who has starred in Home and Away since 2022, previously made an appearance in the Channel 5 serial opera in 2018 in a different character.

Before getting the role of Rose Delaney on the Australian soap opera, Home and Away star Kirsty Marillier portrayed a different character.

The 33-year-old actress made her acting debut in 2022 as police officer Rose and was introduced as Xander Delaney’s half-sister by Luke Van Os.

However, Kirsty’s first encounter with Summer Bay didn’t begin there because she also made an appearance as a background extra during the wedding of Brodie Morgan (Jackson Heywood) and Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman).

The brunette beauty recalls getting the little guest part before being brought back as a new character in an exclusive interview with Daily Star.

“I was offered that two-day guest part, and I accepted it. Kirsty said, “I only had one line, but I genuinely can’t remember what it was.

“Then, after about four or five years, I completed Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. After that, I returned to Sydney and went through another round of Home and Away auditions.

“I was like, ‘I guess it’s not a problem that I was another character,'” she continued.

It’s strange because you frequently assume that if you appear on a TV show, you’ll return as that role, but I returned as someone entirely different.

“I’ve changed a lot and I look quite different from the person that was on the show,” the South African celebrity continued.

“I feel like I did a good job when I came in 2018, and I appreciate that they invited me back,” the speaker said.

Kirsty spoke candidly about her experience working on the Home and Away set, calling it “incredible” and praising the crew’s professionalism.

She gushed, “It’s such an amazing set to be on.” “We use three cameras and may use a large number of extras.

“Everyone is really professional, and it’s a fantastic learning environment. I’m incredibly excited to be here and to do this every day as my career.
