Luke Mitchell and his wife, Rebecca Breeds, have purchased a new family home in Cronulla, Sydney, for $2.3 million.
According to CoreLogic records, the 36-year-old actor, who now plays Danny Cooper in The CW series The Republic of Sarah, purchased the home in April.
According to realestate.com, the residence is only a short distance from Shelley Beach.
Because they possess a $1.425 million stake in the region, the pair is familiar with the area.
Despite their Hollywood success, the couple departed the United States and returned to Australia early this year.
Luke discussed his parenting plans with Rebecca, whom he met when they were co-stars on the Australian serial Home and Away, in 2019.
When questioned about having children during an interview with BW Magazine, he stated they were focused on ‘surfing this wave of our profession at the moment.’
Despite the fact that he was still residing in the United States at the time, Luke confessed that he missed Australia.
He remarked, “I miss the ocean, fresh air, green grass, and the laid-back lifestyle.”
‘You become used to living there [in the United States], but when you return home, you realise how fortunate you are to be an Australian.’
He went on to add that he’d always considered Sydney his home, and that he and Rebecca, who played Clarice on CBS, intended to return at some point.
Luke’s career has taken off since earning the part of Todd ‘Romeo’ Smith on Home and Away, and he now mostly appears in American films.
The Tomorrow People, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Blindspot are among his TV credits.
Luke proposed to Rebecca in 2012, and they married in Kangaroo Valley a year later.
