On UK television the following week, Home and Away’s Andrew Lawrence will not believe that his terrifying cult nightmare is actually finished.
After being saved by Justin Morgan and the police, the troubled kid begins to worry about his own safety.
The Vita Nova plot is resolved in this week’s episodes when Justin makes his third and final attempt to get Andrew back from the cult base.
One of the cult members shoots an arrow at Justin as he executes his plan, injuring him. Thankfully, the cops quickly step in to save Justin and Andrew and bring the Vita Nova bad guys to justice.
Leah Patterson will let Justin know the next week that she wants Andrew to be with them permanently. There are, however, early indications that Andrew might be considering leaving the Bay.
Theo Poulos, Leah’s nephew, learns from Andrew that Vita Nova members are still active and that he may be in danger.
Theo is worried when he discovers the teen guarding the house in the middle of the night while holding a kitchen knife in his hand to defend himself, despite Leah’s intervention and Andrew’s attempts to be reassured that no one is going to harm them.
In order to protect Justin, Leah, and Theo, Andrew subsequently vanishes with the knife and makes arrangements to depart the Bay. Andrew is stopped on his way by Theo, who implores him to stay.
Andrew arrives home reluctantly, where Theo and Justin warn him about carrying a knife. When Andrew gives it to them at last, the two feel relieved.
Later, Rose Delaney, a local police constable, shows up. In contrast to Justin and Leah’s hopes, she contradicts their efforts by acknowledging that she cannot ensure Andrew’s safety because the majority of Vita Nova members won’t be prosecuted.
In an effort to dissuade Andrew from leaving the house once more, Justin makes a pledge to install security cameras to offer him piece of mind. But will this be sufficient?
