‘Well, this has me somewhat excited!’
Sarah Roberts, a former star of Home and Away, recently posted something on Instagram that got people’s “hearts jumping.”
Roberts, who portrayed Willow Harris on the well-liked Seven drama, shared a photo of herself posing in front of a beach that suspiciously resembles Summer Bay’s crystal-clear waters.
The picture has the text “Sunday signs” and an emoji of a cresting wave.
The carousel featured a picture of a painting, an MG licence plate that read “JOY145,” a flower, and a ground-level arrangement in the form of a loveheart.
Fans assumed right away that the actress was joining the cast of Home and Away again.
One admirer enquired, “Are you coming back on Home and Away?”
Another person added, “I also thought this was an H&A return announcement.”
“Fair to say that many of us miss your face on that beach,” a third person wrote.
One of the followers exclaimed, “Well, this has me feeling somewhat excited!”
It will be wonderful to have you back on the television, I’m sure we’ll see you on Home and Away again. added a further admirer.
A third pleaded, “Willow was my favourite character, please return.”
“Sarah!! Another person added, “Or, shall I say, Willow? Either way, we love you XX.”
From 2017 until 2021, Roberts portrayed the strong, devoted, and ferocious Willow Harris. In that year, she made the announcement that she was leaving the show to seek other parts.
Since then, she has made appearances in the films Wog Boys Forever and the TV programmes Wolfland and Scrublands.
But it’s obvious that a return to Home and Away would be appreciated by her supporters.
“There, my heart skipped a beat… One fan remarked, “I thought yessss willow is back to be a bad ass again! “.
“Sarah, please return to the Bay; we miss you!” cried out another.
Roberts recently disclosed that, for a very personal cause, she would be attending the 2023 NRL Beanies for Brain Cancer Launch at the SCG on June 26 in Sydney.
She added, “I am honoured to be involved with the walk to support the Mark Hughes Foundation and raise awareness and money.”
“I’ll be walking in memory of my big brother, who brain cancer tragically took from us far too soon, and the other families affected by this heinous and indiscriminate disease.
“I’ll be walking with public figures from the media, athletes, celebrities, brain cancer survivors, and people who have lost loved ones to the disease.
“Too many lives are being affected by brain cancer; let’s fight back!”
The actress was referred to as “inspiration” by one follower.
One supporter wrote, “Sending you love.”
Another person added, “I cut my hair off to raise money for MHF because my pop passed away from brain cancer.”
