The Australian soap opera Home and Away star Tammin Sursok, who played Dani Sutherland, talked about the “embarrassing” incident that sent her to the hospital with a concussion.
Tammin Sursok had a “embarrassing” accident that sent him to the hospital.
The 40-year-old actress, best known for playing Dani Sutherland on Home and Away, disclosed on Instagram on Thursday, March 28, that she had a concussion as a result of unintentionally falling off her bed.
The incident happened while the former soap opera star was trying to put together a humorous video. In the video, the Pretty Little Liars actress was dressed as a baby and mimicked shots from newborn picture shoots.
Later, Tammin shared a photo of herself in a neck brace while lying in bed in the hospital, along with an explanation of how she got there. “Concussions can happen doing the stupidest things,” she said at the outset.
In addition, you may need to demonstrate or explain what you were doing to the doctor when it occurs. It might be the most awkward thing you’ve ever done.”
“2: Concussions can happen 24 hours after you do that stupid thing, so watch for symptoms,” the South African-born celebrity went on. 3. CT scans are strangely calming and can induce sleep when used with antiemetic drugs.”
Tammin continued, saying, “4: The ER is like a tiny vacation when you have small children. 5. Since neck braces help me sleep straight, I might bring one with me for the trip.
“Thanks for all the well wishes… feeling slightly better,” she wrote as she concluded the post. Just a battered ego and brain. I did, in fact, have a brain, the scan revealed. That’s good, then.
Tammin appeared in The Young and the Restless as Colleen Carlton after four years of playing Dani. She became well-known throughout the world in 2010 after being cast as Pretty Little Liars’ Jenna Cavanagh. With her 12-year-husband Sean McEwen and their two daughters, Phoenix, 10, and Lennon, 5, they reside in Nashville.
