When asked what kind of genres of shows/movies he’d like to do, Evans responded: “I am a massive rom-com fan, so I love comedies, I love rom-coms, I would love to be in something… Ryan Gosling is like my favourite actor. I love him in a rom-com, I’d love to do that sort of thing,

“I can’t see myself as much of an action hero, that’s not my thing, but I’m 6 foot 3 so I’m quite tall so if I put on a lot of muscle then maybe it’d be different, but I look too much like a baby to be a superhero at the moment.”

He also revealed that he used to say he’d quit acting to do music full-time, but now he’s not so sure as he’s enjoying acting so much at the moment.

While he wants to leave Home and Away one day, he hopes that the show continues to thrive.

“Look it’s a great show, it’s a great platform,” he said. “There’s so many people that love it and I think it should keep going until people don’t love it, and brings so much in for Australian TV as well.”

The actor also responded to Neighbours‘ recent second cancellation too ,stating that it “struggled” with money and budget, and said he hoped that Home and Away can continue in the current climate.

Neighbours, it still had a massive fan base and everything like that, but we’re just two totally different shows, I think,” he explained.

“As I’ve said before, Summer Bay has the beach and all that, so the UK get to see that and, I dunno, it’s appealing for a lot of people in different countries.”
