The exciting season finale of Home and Away features a camping trip gone wrong that escalates into a struggle for survival.
Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) and lover Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) make the decision to take a romantic vacation in an attempt to get away from Eden’s family issues. It’s not, however, the opulent vacation Eden had in mind.
Cash beams with pleasure as the couple arrives at a secluded camping area. Eden hides her displeasure even though it’s the last place she wants to be.
“Anywhere I am with you, I’m happy,” she replies, putting her arms around him tightly.
When lover Bree (Juliet Godwin) declares she wants to join Doctors Without Borders, Remi (Adam Rowland) is managing his own dilemma back in Summer Bay.
“Having found the love of his life, it’s difficult for Remi to consider being apart from Bree for so long,” Adam told TV WEEK. “But after everything they’ve been through already, he knows she needs to do this for herself, regardless of whether he can go or not.”
When his friend Eden phones, Remi, who is divided between his life as a musician and the woman he loves, wants to talk about Bree’s news about Doctors Without Borders. She asks Remi to come get her on his motorcycle since she wants to go home.
Sadly, Cash has heard everything and is not pleased.
Remi leaves to pick up his pal, only the open road and some time for reflection between them. However, while travelling, he is hit by a car that is racing towards him and has two men fighting at the wheel. Remi, knocked off his bike, lies still.
“After a collision like that, it would seem entirely likely no-one would survive,” Adam asserts.
What men are these, and is Remi dead or worse?
