In the upcoming episode of Home and Away, Bree plans breakfast with Remi since she continues to feel marginalised.
However, Mercedes again interrupts them as she snatches Remi away from them to concentrate on their strategy.
Bree’s attempts to bring lunch to the studio are rejected, and Xander helps her come to the decision that she wants to demonstrate her trust in Remi by refusing to attend at all while the recording sessions are taking place.
As Lyrik gather for their final preparation sessions, tensions are at an all-time high. Kirby, in particular, rejects Theo’s suggestions as Eden and Mercedes continue to argue.
However, the atmosphere completely changes when Lyrik walks into the recording studio and they cut a killer rendition of “Hold Onto This Moment” with Mercedes’ string part.
Except for Remi and Mercedes, who stay for additional mixing, everyone piles into Theo’s car after the session and drives off to their own homes for the evening.
When Mercedes is finally by herself in the studio, she approaches Remi.
The following morning, Remi bombards Eden and Cash with texts, revealing that Mercedes kissed him. This breaks up Eden and Cash’s beautiful moment.
However, when Bree calls Remi over for breakfast, there is no time for planning.
Remi can’t force himself to admit it when they are sitting across from each other.
When Justin learns that Andrew’s sister, an old acquaintance from his past, is going to visit them, he becomes nervous and meets her for coffee.
Tegan expertly checks off every box, has visual evidence, and has shared memories of her and Andrew’s early years.
She also intends to take Andrew to live with her, which causes Justin and Leah to wonder if this is in Andrew’s best interests.
Andrew is relating to his sister Tegan, who also experienced being abandoned as a child, through their shared experience.
Tegan is adamant about establishing a new life with her sibling, despite Justin and Leah’s concerns that she is going too quickly.
John continues to prepare dinner for Irene across the bay as a token of appreciation for her kindness.
But when the two decide to eat out and seem to be having a great time together, it’s the thought that matters.
When they return from suit shopping, the two are in good spirits and are unaware of Marilyn’s concern over their developing friendship.
When Mackenzie hears Xander’s suspicions that John and Irene are dating, she gets involved in the investigation to expose them.
Finally, Mali tells Irene and John everything, and they’re both shocked to learn that everyone believes they’re in a relationship.
Irene has alternative plans than John’s to correct the record.
Marilyn learns that Stunning Organics is having a press conference to announce their improvements and has been invited as a special guest.
The invitation even includes a payment of $25,000, but Alf comes up with a scheme before she can decline the offer.
Alf interrupts the press conference and displays a picture of Roo in a coma. The CEO storms out as Marilyn says she was given a bribe to attend.
Alf presses the CEO for an answer while Kirby records, and she unintentionally makes a public statement saying she doesn’t care about Roo or her medical condition.
