‘I must watch it!’
This article contains references to both s*xual assault and the usage of illegal drugs.
This week, Felicity makes a daring attempt to track down her assailant since she sees no end to her pain. Will her search result in resolution or a crisis?
Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) of Home And Away is doing everything in her power to get over being s*xually abused on a night out with her friend Eden (Stephanie Panozzo).
Unknown assailant drugged Flick’s drink as they celebrated Lyrik’s performance at the Battle of the Bands contest. Later, she discovered that she had been attacked.
Flick first tried to keep what happened from her brother (Nicholas Cartwright), but when she did, he promised to support her.
According to Jacqui, “it’s a weight lifted off her shoulders,” as reported by TV WEEK. Cash, of course, doesn’t hold her accountable and wants to support her in any way he can. They both concur that she must inform the authorities so they can try to apprehend this offender.
Flick continues to seek answers despite having the support of her friends, counselling sessions, and a police inquiry. She visits the police station and requests to check the CCTV recordings from the previous evening. Cash cautions her against it but eventually gives in and lets her into his office.
Cash makes a call to her partner Tane (Ethan Browne) as Flick searches through the video. But as soon as he shows up, Flick snaps, creating more issues.
She begs, “Let me do this!” Having no idea how to assist her, Cash and Tane go.
As the hours pass, Flick makes no progress in catching the perpetrator. She is plagued with a memoryless moment.
The following day, Eden begs Cash to take a break since he, too, is preoccupied with trying to identify the assailant. The DNA test results from Flick’s tests are received while he is on the phone with Eden. Could this be the pivotal moment for them?
