Lacey’s connections could spell trouble for Theo.

Home and Away has confirmed that Theo Poulos is about to get involved with a dangerous new love interest, who could bring a lot of trouble back to Summer Bay.
In scenes that will air in Australia this week, and in the UK in May, newcomer Sonny Baldwin continues to live it up in the Bay after reconnecting with his old friend Remi Carter – who just happens to have received a huge windfall recently.
But TV Week reports that Sonny is about to make a huge mistake, as he gets closer to Remi’s girlfriend Bree Cameron. When Bree offers Sonny a sympathetic ear as he talks about his troubles, Sonny misreads her signals and tries to kiss her.
When Remi finds out the truth, he’s quick to cut off Sonny’s access to his trust fund money, while Sonny is left feeling guilty about what he’s done.
“Sonny loves Remi a lot but he’s also always been jealous of his charmed life,” Sonny actor Ryan Bown said. “Things fall in his lap, and that eats away at Sonny – especially when he meets Bree.”
He added that Sonny’s jealousy “gets the better of him”, before his attempt to kiss Bree “jeopardises his friendship with Remi”.
With Sonny feeling the need to make things up to Remi, he promises to pay back all the money that he owes his friend. But to raise the cash quickly, he comes up with a potentially dodgy plan.
Sonny soon shows up at a car junkyard, bringing Theo along to help. The pair are introduced to Gage, but when Theo shakes his hand, he’s concerned to spot a familiar ‘Blood and Sand’ tattoo on his arm – the mark of the River Boys gang.
But his worries are quickly forgotten when he spots Lacey cleaning a red sports car. After she introduces herself to Theo, she starts flirting with him, playfully testing him on his knowledge of cars.
“Lacey is a bit of a bad girl and is the [only] girl in the gang,” actor Sophea Pennington said. “And when she meets Theo, they have an instant attraction.”
Theo is delighted when Lacey agrees to give him her number, but his joy is short-lived as a fight suddenly breaks out in the garage. Theo and Sonny watch on, interested to see Gage taking control of the row with the help of a metal wrench.
But Theo faces another shock when he sees Gage and Lacey cuddling up together – could his interest in Lacey be about to put him in serious danger?
Matt Evans, who plays Theo, recently hinted at a potential exit from the soap in order to pursue opportunities in the US, saying that he “won’t be on Home and Away forever”.
